Grande Punto My Red Grande T-Jet (Daisy)

Introduction

I fell in love with it when i first saw it and knew it had to be mine.
Ive done a few small mods since owning it.
Xenon look headlight bulbs
Abarth mats
Yatour music changer
Chrome indicator bulbs in the headlights and side repeaters to get rid of the fried egg look
Forge motorsport induction kit
Powerflow backbox
De-wipered, de-badged

Im a big fan of keeping the car clean as well.
Future mods are coilovers and some different wheels.
Re-vinyl the A and B pillars as they are awful.
Vinyl the numberplate bit between the grills.

Anyhow, pictures from when i first got it, to now. (Nothings changed really  )
Sooo, this weekend i am heading upto Midlands Car Care in Walsall to have the front end resprayed, time to say bye to the bumper being pink and the damaged and bye to stone chips and small dents!
Cant wait! Not going to have the car for a week though :( but it should come back looking lovely!

Ill try to mate! Looking to give it a quick oil change and do the pollen filter when i get back!
All depends on the weather!
Actually bricking the journey home as its 70 miles on the motorway :( i dont want my fresh paint to get chipped straight away haha!

How much further is it on the a-roads? :p

Right, got it back and not had time really to take pictures as it starting raining after i had done the oil!
Anyhow, the spraying is really spot on, cant see any inperfections! Its a perfect match and cant even see where he has blended the wings, i can really recommend them!
Couple of pics.

Having her oil change :)

looking good now mate now just keep it topped up with a good wax/sealent and your golden.

Jordan.

Jordan... thanks for the advice mate but im cleaning mad and have been a member of detailing world for at least 5 years now ;) I have many sealants (dont really use wax anymore) and I intend to keep it sealed. However the reason i had the front end resprayed was due to bad colour matching from the factory, stone chips and light bumper damage. The paint hadn't faded!

Cheers.

sorry If I missed it reading through but what tyres are those out of interest?

the H&R kit looks really good, especially on the rear!

They are Yokohama Prada Spec 2's, I love them but they wear quite quick as they are so soft haha!
Good in dry but apparently not the best in the wet but I dont push the car when its wet!

Thanks for the comment on the suspension, i was expecting a lot of rake but its sat so perfectly so im really happy!

ahh no good for me then and my daily commute to work haha :(

you get more 'rake' on the eibachs!

Noticed you got your bumper sprayed too? hows it matching up against the body work? Red's arn't the best for colour lasting :(

Definitely not good for high miles! You can obviously swap the backs for the fronts to get more miles out of them!

I imagine if i had a diesel then i would have had more rake because of the heavy engine!

I had the whole front end resprayed bud, bonnet, bumper and blended into the wings but the bumper is exactly the same as the wings and bumper! I cant even see a slight difference in it!
They used ceramic lacquer as well so its rock solid and a lot better than the poor excuse for paint that fiat use.

I'm in a heavy diesel and tbh I don't get that much rake really! which I'm glad about haha

ahh fairenough then! wish fiat would do that from factory though :p

I thought you had a diesel but i couldnt remember!
I wish they would too, ive got so many chips over the whole car and it does my head in, ill be going back to get more work done by them over time!

Got a new headunit last week as my standard one kept eating cd's for breakfast, dinner and tea so i thought it was about time for an upgrade.
It handles the bass really well and the sound quality is much improved through the standard speakers. Happy happy.
