Panda (Classic) My 4x4 - The Muddy Pics!

Introduction

Hey everyone as I've only just joined I thought I'd post some more pictures to show you lovely lot what we're all about up here in the bleak North.

Both me and my mate have Pandas, mine's the '87 and his the '89, both Italian Racing Grey.

As I've previously said, although we put the Pandas through their paces we take good care of the old lasses because we want the fun to keep coming.

I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoy making them! :D

Some of these pics are from a while ago, I'll get some new ones up soon :)
I've a suggestion for the next level.. Portal axles!

Yes andyholli, I have always thought about this, and I've been on the very same website and it says at the bottom "Our portals are currently available for Land Rover, Merc G and Jeep models. Other vehicles will be available soon"..........maybe they are working on the Panda variant!!

Whenever I see a Unimog I immediately have to bore the person I am with, with portal axles speak, they are the ultimate off road beast!!

That Merc G-wagon 6x6 they had on Top Gear had portaled axles and they didn't even mention them, I was jumping up and down at the TV.........."Tell me about the axles god damn Hamster!!!!"

Maybe contact them with a view to using your 4x4 as a prototype (y)

Loving the 131 wheels Andy :yum:. An imaginative choice, have you got any pics of the whole car with those wheels on?

Thanks Kris, not as yet - I have only tried one on to see how much modificating I need to do to the body before I can run with them. I will get plenty of pics with them on when it's all done :)

Well thanks to Alixcompo for the advise I have done gone ordered myself some Aquasteel to sort my brown bits out, and a huge vat of filler in order to sort the bits that used to be silver, then brown, but are now nowhere to be seen.

A delivery today from Michael 4WDPandamonium of the rear quarter '4x4' stickers has also made me very happy! So as soon as that huge dent on the back is fixed they will be going on :)

Just following that advice to its natural conclusion:p

There's a huge range of authentic military colours Andy.

This is where I bought my Snatch satin Sand -

And here for the application tools-

To be honest, Hadrian already has military aspects to him. All the bottom bits, sump guard, bull bar, axle etc. are all painted in black tank paint, and I was going to do an urban camo job on him but am still unsure about it :)
