Hi everyone, this is my second punto, I had a mk2b 2004 one 2 years ago and I dont know why I got rid of it!!

My dad has a 2008 GP 1.3 multijet and I decided to follow suit with a Punto again, just a basic standard 1.2 8v one to keep me going :)

At the moment it's currently a van ( although the only diffence I see is no back seats and bordered windows
from the inside, this WILL be changed :D ) and I plan to convert it once I have the funds.

Few snaps :

Bought these bad boys today 17's (4x100, they'll fit yeah??) I plan to get some tyres for them soon!

Since its technically a van the two back windows have been tinted so I followed suit and got the back one done today :

Next week i'll be ordering fog lamps (putting yellow tint on them), getting a debadged grill and tinting the front and back lights with a black smoke effect :)

Love the car already, so smooth to drive (even though it's slow, but hey!)

I plan on throwing on a universal air filter and back box soon for a sports hum, i'll keep everyone updated in the process. Thanks

Got those alloys, sticking on some 205 45 17s next week. Seats being reupholstered with custom leather with moulded semi bucket style.

I'm looking to get a back box to give it a him, what connection would one have it connect to my car? Would any universal box fit? Thanks

awaiting on wind deflectors in the post now. Got a few decals yesterday as well as yellow h4 bulbs, which look mint IMO. Getting the leather seats on Saturday and the front and back lights smoked and a sh strip Monday morning.

Only thing I'll have to do after that is find a debadged grill, fog lamps and then wheels for my alloys

Thanks mate! My friend is a professional re-upholsterer ( I think that's what they're called!!) so he's taking off the current material on the seats, moulding in some semi bucket style to the current seat and putting leather over it, black and red, it's getting done Saturday i'll get pictures then :D

No plans to lower, I bought the 17's last week just have to get tyres now, with the bigger tyre it'll look lower anyway if you get me, so don't want to be messing with suspension just incase of any problems!

Think the decal looks stupid, is it not affecting your visibility? I'd say it is a legit reason to stop you and ask you to remove it by the police.

Seats look great though.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion! I prefer it at the back, it's too big for the sun strip at the front. It's a van so I can put what I like on it, no reason for the police to stop me. Doesn't affect visability. I may get a similar logo in a smaller form for the sun strip on the front and remove the back eventually when I have the time although i'm still undecided.

Thanks mate, getting a lot of compliments for them.

Next step is a debadged grill and to get wheels for my alloys. Then maybe a custom backbox for a sporty sound!

I'm not gonna say the decals look stupid but a few reasons I didn't add them:

- people know it's a punto
- I know its a punto
- There was already a badge saying 'punto' until I removed it
- unless I'm in a rally show, decals are really not applicable as im not being sponsored
- with puntos, I believe less is more.

Everyone has their opinions, I had a **** load of decals on my old corsa b.

I just think you'll go off it as most people do. I nearly stuck one on my car other day then I knew id end up taking the ****er off lol.

Anyway, those seats look immense. Is it possible to get that done if you don't know an upholsterer? I'd definitely consider that!

Just have the P logo on the front now mate, the decal at the back is gone! Looks simple and tidy now :)

Cheers! I wouldn't have a clue to be honest, it was just a spur of the moment thought to get them done when my mate had pictures of some of his work done on Facebook! I'd recommend looking into it though, so comfortable :D
