Panda 2012+ 2013 Panda 4X4 TwinAir

Very nice car. I went to the dealer and he said sat nav/tom tom connector is not available on panda 4x4. Is he wrong? He said it was up until March but not anymore.

I am not convinced.

Ordered my 4x4 ta on march 12 with TomTom etc.....no issues mentioned by dealer.
I thought so. I am going to a different garage tomorrow so hopefully will put in the order.

If you don't mind my asking what sort of discount did you manage to negotiate?

well I was kind of fortunate because Fiat have a tie up with Institute of Advanced Motorists of which I am a member and managed to negotiate 15% on car and all factory-fit options.

Ive had my 4x4 5 weeks now was a bit disapointed with ecconemy driving back from the dealers Perry`s Aylesbury to Lincoln only got 38 mpg, Drove a full tank in eco very poor performance still only got 38mpg drove the next full tank in normal got 42mpg have done 1200 mls and its getting better 46 now Fiat told me it would get better after 4000mls am well pleased ,I bought it from Perry`s as their deal with a trade in was £2000 better than the dealers in Lincs

Your economy will improve. My last tank was my best so far.
I personally believe the eco button doesn't save me anything mpg wise.
You need to change down climbing some hills as there is not enough power in eco, so higher revs. My best full tank mpgs done in 10 months of driving a TA 500 were all done with eco off.

Waiting eagerly for my TA white 4x4 supposed to arrive in June. Just got the brochure today.... are locking wheel nuts standard? brochure shows as an optional extra??
Are the Fiat set good quality, or is it better going for mcgard or similar?

cheers

They were standard on my car, and also were on my 2012 500.

Another on here had their car delivered without them, but the dealer gave them a set.
I think the quality is fine.

YES!!

Beat fiats combined mpg on my drive home today.
Warmer weather and missing the rush hour helped

When I get my energy saver tyres next month, I'll remove the roof bars too and see if I can do better.

Well done, Deeyup (y)

This suggests my Trekking's Twinair* may be able to match my current
Alfa Mito 1.3JTDM-2 which has averaged 62MPG over its 21000 miles :D

I've had diesels since 1993 so am used to keeping the revs down ;)

* if it ever arrives

I'm status 16 now apparently! :)

I don't have a status code, but do have good news:
my Trekking Twinair has reportedly been built, and to my
original specification (i.e. with sliding rear seat (y) )

Given how long ago I ordered it, Fiat must have had to
give it high priority in the sliding seat build 'restart'

Hartwells are expecting delivery sometime next week.

To mix metaphors, I don't yet feel out of the woods,
but can see light at the end of the tunnel

Have just paid deposit on new Panda 4x4 TwinAir.
Peaceful White , space saver spare tyre, split folding rear seat,3 rear seatbelt, height adjustable drivers seat, winter pack, parking sensors, tow bar ,mudflaps and mats.
Dealer reckons July delivery.
Regards
Gerry

I'll be interested to see the tow bar.

I was reading the other day that Vw are no longer fitting towbars at the factory.
It was something to do with type approval.
Either each and every car fitted with one would have to be put through an sva type test or else make them dealer fit accessories.
