Bravo facelift T-Jet Sport 150 in Maranello Red

Introduction

Here the new Bravo, second in the family (y)

After a thorough search of available cars this was chosen.
Put a deposit on her today, collecting on Friday

Full review to follow, wil be interesting to compare to my current car
I've just come back from Devon, my first long drive in my T-Jet 150 Sport. I averaged 39 mpg driving very carefully - seldom more than 70mph. I was a bit disappointed in that figure. I was almost embarrassed to confess to my wife that yes, we needed to stop for petrol AGAIN and yes, I'm sure we should have bought the Bravo. I could almost see the fuel gauge needle moving as I drove. Maybe I was spoilt by my last car being a multijet diesel but is this fuel consumption typical of the car?

Very good for a petrol IMO. My 1.4 NA Stilo would only do 35mpg on similar journeys.

Thanks for confirming. Good job I don't do that length of journey very often!

sorted a few things out today :)

transferred the balance Fiat Warranty to me £27
obtained copies of the services (not supplied with car) £free

ordered:
genuine mats £25
spark plugs (hadn't been changed at the 'services') £27
touch up pencil (a few small chips on bumper lip) £15

bought from parts-world and got 10% discount using FF code :D

also in the post to me is a genuine Dog Guard I found on eBay £85

OK, let me know how they fit. I've bought some rubber ones (cheap) but only because I couldn't find the genuine bravo ones that cheap-I like the little bravo logo on them!

I've been toying with getting some kickplates as well, found them for £60 delivered, can't decide whether to go for them! I think they'll look nice but as soon as one gets a mark I'll want to replace it!

i have fitted kick plates to other cars with mixed results

i think the mats may have a heel pad and a cutout at side for footrest... we will see!

Oh how I long for a footrest!! Seen an automatic 59 plate t-jet 120 dynamic on ebay, only done 8500 miles, red. If I hadn't bought mine a few weeks ago, I'd probably snap it up!

special offer on mats for automatic cars

i can see no reason why they will be THAT different that will mean they wont fit

Where out of interest? Need a set for my Dualogic as has 'manual' Mats in and the footrest with it is a pig :bang:

Should fit a manual, but a big gap will be present where the foot rest is to left of the brake pedal I'd have thought.
