Punto (Mk2/2b) My Fiat Punto M2b 1.2 8v

Introduction

this is my fiat punto Mk2b, i have not made many modifications to it as of yet but i am hoping to in the future, any suggestions?
No :/, trust me mate I was fuming, pissed me off so much.

Did you take his reg? Surly if he has made contact with your vehicle and has left/not notified you it's an offence. Along the lines of leaving the scene of an accident? Are you sure there's no damage atall, even for the slightest thing I'd be tempted to put a claim in just to spite him!

So the car passed its M.O.T at the beginning of this month, which was great news as I thought I could treat myself to some gadgets as I didn't have to pay for any repairs, and now the clutch in the car has decided to give up on me :(, so have had to fork out for a new one to be fitted, granted the car drives so much better and smoother now and it's seems to of got rid of the horrible judder when reversing which is always a bonus, another small update is that I've replaced the heater fan resistor and soldered in some new wire as the old resistor kept burning out the wires. Since replacing it though it seems to be absolutely fine now :) and I can enjoy the heat from my fans without having to put them on full.

Just been driving in heavy rain and the wiper linkage has decided to pop off :/ and now the passenger side wiper Is no longer working, I popped the linkage back on but when I turn on the wipers it pops off again. Anyway I was just having a quick look online and I came across this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-PUNT...Car+Make:Fiat|Model:Punto&hash=item3cdc0ea677

I didn't no whether this would be adequate, or if it's better to get a new wiper linkage?

Quite a few people have used these with success, I believe -- but I ended up with the reinforced linkages from Wipex: which come with a lifetime guarantee! So far, after all these heavy rains, they show no sign of wear; and seem to be standing up well.... :worship:

I thought I better update this thread, after 2 years of ownership of my punto, I am selling it on, i am sad to see it go as it has served me well, but I new this day would have to come some day, i am currently returning the car to standard, before it goes as part exchange towards my new car that I pick up on Sunday, which is a 13 plate abarth punto evo, so I will start a new thread up in the abarth section once I have got it. Also I will be putting up my sporting alloys in classified soon if anyone is interested.
