Panda (Classic) Fizzle :)

here's some pic's as to what's instore for Fizzle...

I'm not a massive fan of the Seicento tacho, I don't think it goes all that well with the Panda. I recently bought a NOS tacho for Charmania (well... when I get her), it goes with the Pandas existing instruments as its Veglia Borletti.

Wasn't cheap though....

Hate them. Hate them, hate them, hate them. Car's never been the same since I put them on and the fronts are ready for replacement (thank god) after oooh, under 10k anyway. Kev got them too and doesn't seem to have had issues but I wouldn't have them again. Just feel really soft, yet not grippy, and annoyingly no better in the wet than the Ceats that were on before either.

Have we got a best tyre for your Panda thread?

I can feel one coming on!

To be fair I have no name ones with plenty of tread on the front which perform reasonably well, it's the rear Michelins which are cracking on the side walls :(

I'm not going to put alloys on this year so will have to bite the bullet and buy a pair.

We have now:devil:
Trouble is they change them so often. The Ceat Spiders I had on before these were spot on but they don't seem to be around any more. Arrowspeed cheapies from Kwik Fit are awful, had them on the Punto. Kumhos I've had on before which were good. Full set of Michelins on the first Panda I had were amazing, best money I ever spent on it, but no idea what they're like now because they're all fuel savery these days in this size. Firestones full set on the Kia I had were pricey and not much cop, but again that's 15 years ago now. Continental wintercontacts are great..in winter. Errm, that's all I've got for now. Sure Vernon must know he must have one of each on the fleet.

If you can find Viking they are good - no honestly. Used them for about 25 years (showing my age now!) but can't always get them now. They were a big manufacturers mid range brand (maybe Pirelli).

You get the grip and feel of Pirelli with better wear & lower price (y) stumbled on them for my first car - a 127 which would eat a pair of front tyres in 2500 miles (well they do handle well but too enthusiastic at 18 and that's what you get - I now get about 5000 miles on a pair of 127 fronts - still handle well, but I have more of a sense of self preservation now! ;) ).

OK

You may have seen my classified adds for a few bits and pieces, placed to keep the powers that be happy ;)

Basically I'm after all the plastic stick on bits I can get my hands on!

I'd like the CLX side body mouldings (practical to hide/prevent door dents) including wing and rear arch bits.

Bonnet scoop and now Palio's finally got his roof rails (fingers crossed) I'm hoping I might get a pair :p

As you can guess I'm aiming for the 4x4 chunky/sports utility look :)

I'm in no hurry for the bits but hoping I can gather them in at Panda Camp or collect bits from other members at the shows later in the year.

So if you have or know of where any of these bits may be sourced any help tracking the bits down will be muchly appreciated (y)

My taste in accessories (or perceived lack of) can be debated below....

First of my little mods turned up this morning.

here are the mounting options

we'll call them

A B

C D

It's bigger than I remember them being :bang:

I'm drawn to extend the pod bottom and attach in position C

I have an E up my sleeve too...;)
