Probably not going to be much more happening to this car for a while so here is a quick update of what has happened.

As some of you know my car was hit not long back i have now built up the courage to "touch it up" my self (no innuendo's please guys) but the weather seems to want to hold e back on this so will probably do it as soon as we get a good day.

I am also now getting the car prepped for winter and today was the 1st step as i swapped my whels back over. I wanted the abarths off ever since the door thing anyway so though id get it done nice and early.

The Abarths have now been washe, decontaminathed, polished, sealed and waxed (inside and out) they have never been so clean while i have owned them i would actually eat off them lol.

Also as some of you may no i am currently out of employment but in the market for a new car (for those that dont know i am looking at getting a subaru) so as soon as i gain employment it will be a saving spree until i can afford one. The reason i am telling you this is that a fear yesterday was the last time i will ever drive on the Abarth alloys

Anyway withou further a'do hear are some pics.

I think it looks a little weired like this, my sister says she likes my car in its "winter boots" lol i think 1 may have a slow puncture too :bang: so will keep an eye on that.

the punto is for sale......... Because......... I brought a SUBARU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely in love with it (apart from a tiny bit of lacqure peel I found today)

I tend not to look on here any more anyway but am on the facebook group "punto enthusiasts" and will be keeping in touch with some guys through that.

Haha lol cheers mate. Yeah its heavy on petrol had it just over a week abd put £80 in already but that included the 90 mile trip home so not to bad I guess.

1st I plan to get the paint to a standard of my liking I have found out today while cleaning it that its had quite a lot of respray work done, most of which seems to just be new clear coat which I find odd. And a small peice of this is peeling :bang: just my luck!! But I think I will be able to sort that as there is clear underneath the peel so I'll sand it out and touch it up.

apart from that I think im gonna leave it as it is and enjoy it. It already has a hks dump valve so am enjoying the noises more than anything lol.

oh and im gonna de badge the boot too.

if I had the money I would have a list as long as my arm of things to do but I dont lol.

I'm on the lookout for one now been looking for months! So wrx or with ppp as well? Got the belts done already?

its the wrx sti type uk model without the ppp. Chucking out somewhere between 260 -280 bhp. :devil:
belt was done before I brougjt it with recipt to prove. Even looking at the belt you can tell its new... even smells new lol.
mpg im not sure about as it doesnt have a trip computer. It has a tape player for christ sake
But after 1 week of ownership (as of last friday) I have put £80 of petrol in it lol put some vpower nitro+ in it and its sat at 3/4 full for a godd 3 or 4 days so can live with that.

I'll make a non fiat motor thread up and get some pikkies up for ya.

Sounds good mate! Was looking at a sti ppp but decided 305bhp isn't completely necessary haha 260-280bhp sounds perfect Ah you don't need any music in a scooby the car is the music Look forward to seeing some more pictures sometime So jealous!
