Hi guys i have a 1.2 fiat Punto active sport 16v on a 2004 plate aka the RED BLUR!

I want to lower my car, i don't know if you guys have notice though that on standards puntos the back is usually lower than the front end. i have just ordered 50mm springs and was wandering are these too low? will they be compatible with the original shocks? keeping in mind iam using the original active sport 15'' alloy wheels...

No it should look really smart, ive lowered mine by 40mm, it sits really nice at the back but a little high at the front, so i think i might get some -50mm springs for the front, but -50mm springs should look awsome on yours! nice car BTW!!

cheers mate thanx ur cars looking good too, what size rims you got on that though? and did you need to change any of the shock absorbers or did the 40mm springs fit directly onda original shocks??

Yer there are no problems when lowering onto 50mm spring all original components can cope and the is no rubbing from the orginal wheels.

no I didnt have to change my shocks, -50mm springs should be fine with the standard shocks, my alloys are 16inch, there off of a Fiat coupe 20v turbo
