Grande Punto About time

Introduction

Been a member of good old Fiat Forum for a few months now and its helped me out a lot and gave me a few ideas for my gp! So i thought it was about time I get a few pics up of my motor and some ideas I've got for him..

Only got the alloys the other week so I'm getting them lacquered before they're put on for good..

Already got:-
20% tint on rear 3 windows
17" fiat alloys on toyos
and thats it haha

Plans:-
Front licence plate vinyled anthracite
White light bulb headlights
Rear mudflaps and possibly front if I can be bothered cutting around the side skirts..
Possible red badge upgrade
HEKO wind deflectors
Front quarter windows blacked out
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines
and any other little ideas I get but thats all the main things for now until I get a permanent job anyway!

Thanks mate! The windows tinted completely transforms the look I reckon, I only got 20% cause any darker wouldn't look as good, but 5% would look great on yours!

Just got a mate that does tint work to do it for me, only took a tenner, it's a kind of stab in the dark job cause you've got to just throw the tint in and hope its aligned haha

Your lucky! I don't know anybody who can do tints :( did you get the rear 3 done too? Also keep us updated with the window matrix covering :)

Get pics up!

Yeah had the rear three done in October and got the fronts done at the beginning of this month, really subtle mod, completely changes the look.

Only reason I know my tint guy is cause he done my back 3 and we just got talking after that, runs his own business from his house.

Shall do!(y)

Well my bulbs, mud flaps and chrome nut covers came in the post the other day and so far i've only had time to put the bulbs in..
So here's a quick before and after pic (y)

Let me know how this goes, and are they OEM (can't remember without scrolling back too lazy)

And this is inspiration enough for me to sort out my headlight bulbs i think. That looks sooooo much better!

Yep all OEM bar vinyl obviously haha need to have a look at how to fit flaps, instructions are a nightmare, can hardly read them.

And yeah they look a lot better! Cheap enough too, only 17 quid for all 4 bulbs (headlight/sidelights) from Philips 12342-BVUSM H4 Blue Vision 100% Headlight Bulbs (A Pair):Amazon:Car & Motorbike (y)

Yeah, i gave up with the instructions. I couldn't get the flaps to sit right. I removed the screws for the rear black inner arch and tried positioning different bits infront/behind. Really was clear as mud, and then the large black screw supplied i 'assumed' goes in the bottom upfacing screw fixing, it simply wouldn't reach. So please do let me know if you have success with them, and how you do it if you do. As i gave up :yuck: I only tried the rears too, was far to infuriated to try the fronts.

Just had a look at a few other threads and they seem easy enough *touch wood* so I'll have a bash in the next few days and I'll take a few pics etc if all goes well (y)

Yeah i'll say. I dived into mine thinking it was going to be EASY, and i was infuriated mainly at how hard it was proving to be. Eagerly awaiting to hear how it goes!

On mine it is a normal "+" screw. a regular phillips got mine out. Maybe someone has had a bash at yours before and nackered it? I just couldn't get the supplied long black bottom pin to connect to the old fastening. Infuriating aren't they :D
