Just popping in to post a few pics of the punto i purchased for £200 with 12 months Mot and 4 months tax

Was all go this last week with my partners car failing its Mot and mine being engine less whilst im uprating a few more bits ...

Anyway..

Anyway my toy...
Yes its an Mg

But with 250bhp running low boost its pretty fun
Once its back in the car we will have 380bhp

If anyone can tell me the paint code it would be much appreciated as halfords have already given me the wrong one..

Best way to find it would be to look on the cross member there should be a code there... failing that call fiat up and give them your reg.

no point asking for the paint code on that old rover because this is a fiat forum
however if you need the code for that sweetie little punto it will be on the underside of the bonnet
grigio something,be sure to tell nice man year of car as some years are more champagne coloured in the flesh

have you found the sticker
be warned if its been through my hands i often change stickers under bonnets for the laugh even though i wont be there for the punch line

fine use that then
just bare in mind silver is the hardest colour to blend in in a car so go careful ,to be honest i would dab the paint in that little rust rather than trying a localised repair on this age after cleaning it up

Are they really that bad, Punto Seems a nice smooth car??

If i want to be heavy footed il go out in the Zr anyway, Bit pointless sticking your foot down with 60bhp under your foot

They must be mad then. The 1.2 16v I had was the best car I've ever had, it never ever let me down. I always thought the headlight were a pita to do though. I always got some other poor b*gger to do them after experiencing the joys of it once

na puntos aren't too bad Head gaskets go slightly less often than those on Rover built engines

is that a T-series under the bonnet

Yep Trust T series.. No more headgaskets lol..

Best bet, take the car to an automotive paint dealer. They should be able to match the code (or use a swatch) and adjust it slightly to match the fade. COB, and no straight line to "edge" to, so you might consider doing the whole quarter panel.
