Grande Punto Ysidfas White T-Jet

Introduction

Hey guys! Picked up my new ride yesterday, and Im madly in love with it already!

Spec:
- 59 Reg 1.4 16v T-jet Sporting 120bhp
- Bossa Nova White
- Panoramic (Skydome) Sunroof
- Optional extra 5 Spoke 17" alloys
- Factory Rear window tints

I can honestly say, Its fast!!! Coming from driving a 65bhp 1.2 8v active GP, Double the power and almost tripple the torque is such a nice feeling! Pulls to 70 (and a bit more ;) ) sooo easily!

The panoramic sunroof really sets the car off! especially with the 5 spokes :)

Plans:
- Team Heko Wind deflectors (Bought need fitting)
- Re-vinyl pillars and rear roof section to make the whole roof gloss black
- Eibach Sportlines
- Spend countless hours keeping it spotlessly clean (already filty after doing 100 miles on soaking wet roads :( )
- Forge/GSR intake
- Remap

Not 100% sure on tuning it up for serious power (vl36 A500 turbo ect) but its early days yet ;)

Thoughts and comments all appreciated :)
Quick question, I've read in another t-jet thread that adding a cone filter on the end of the standard induction hose knocks the car into Limphome mode, I was considering trying the spare cone filter I have laying about until I read this.
Has anyone had any experience with cone filters on t-jets?
I will be buying a Forge Intake within the next couple of months, just want something to keep me entertained till then :p

nope makes no issue with the mrs car, does sound good though. the only problem we have had with doing mods to the car was when we fitted a dump valve it puts a warning message on the dash.

Put the cone on for a couple of days and I love the noise too much! Suffers from heatsoak quite badly though, so Its coming off this afternoon :(
If/When I sell my Stereo (classifieds ;) ) Im gonna invest in a few aestheic bits. Badgeless grill, Bonnet bra for protection, and get the few vinyly bits done :)

This afternoons job is to wash and polish, gave it a quick detail midweek and my efforts were useless as it rained all day yesterday so its now a pail shade of brown (n)

Oh and feel free to follow me on Instagram; TJETOM

Tom they often cause more damage than that which they prevent. Far better off spending the money on a clear part wrap of the bonnet and bumper to prevent stone chips (y)

only just saw you got a tjet! nice one mate looks freshhh!

im in two minds about upgrading to one or go for something totally different! was it a nice step up from the 1.2?

Cheers man! And yeah! Despite being exactly the same car, it feels completely different on bigger wider wheels. The interior is so much nicer too, and its not just to look at, the feel of it all is so much more luxurious! Its suprising what a bit of suede, carbon fibre and leather can do! :p
I would highly reccomend it! Hows the Airbag system coming along dude?
