Introduction

Hi Guys, been a member for a while now so thought it about time to share my car with you ;o)


Ive just had a GT conversion on her and am made up. ;o)

Its going into the same car it came out of so its pretty straight forward, if it was going into a different car then it would be a different story.
 
hi im alan.. new to this.. but not to fiats..
im looking at changing the engine too.. 1.4gt, coupe 16v.. not sure yet but you say its straight forward wi gt.

Unless she rolls it there is just as much protection as there is in a normal GT. Your pretty ****ed if you roll any Punto tbh.
 
Puntoboy, u seem to know everything about Punto's so i thought i would ask your advice on mine... I have a 16v black Cabrio, and am mildly worried about the suspension which seems to be made of sponge. I recently posted on here and was pointed in your direction. If i get some lower harder springs will it sort the prob, or will i need to get dampers etc too..? Please advise as i live in the countryside and all the back roads are rather unforgiving... Thanx.

They will help it out but then the ride will become bumpier and in time will kill the standard shocks.

Your better off getting a full kit (shocks and springs) if you go for one of the more expensive kit's you will be able to get adjustables, which you can adjust to make the ride softer or harder.
