Cinquecento Piccolo Blu

Introduction

Well I've been keeping it quiet for the past two weeks but yes, I have finally got myself an old Fiat! I was looking at Panda's and Sei Schummy's but once i first saw this i had to have it.

I bought it from a chap called imolajon from ClubCento he has spent the past 4 years or so lovingly restoring it into amazing condition. It has been modified as well with:
EBC Turbo Discs and Green Stuff pads
175x50x13 A539 Yokohama Tyres
Tricker 40mm throttle Body
BMC CDA Air Filter
Supersprint 4-2-1 Manifold
Sports Cat
Janspeed centre section and rear box
Black head lining
Monroe Gas shock absorbers
40mm PI lowering springs
Chequred vinyl roof

So you might ask what are my plans with it? Well I plan to keep it as a bit of a show car, it needs a little work but hopefully won't be too much. It needs the rear bumper respraying and needs the bottoms of both doors attending too, they have started rusting but only just so will try and keep on top of it. It also needs a couple of patches in the rear wheel arch cleaning up and resealing.

Enough of my babbling here are some pics for you, some are from its previous owner.

This is THE cleanest cinquecento I have ever seen. Such a good buy and got a nice grumble too it too ;)

And well kept on the secret! Sneaky bugger :p

"that cars tighter than a cats ass"

quote from a road movie - cant remember which one... I think it was "the California kid" a must see movie for any petrol head!

Stripping the car down for some deep cleaning and some repair to the under seal.

Found this cheeky bugger hiding under the back bumper!

After removing the back bumper i found some damage

Looks like someone has gone up the back of it in the past, used a nice mallet to knock it out a little (way up!!)

Attempting to remove the front bumper and have come into a bit of a problem. Both bolts are stuck and just turning so can't get them out. Has anyone got any idea on how to remove these? Im thinking of drilling them out.

Te bumper bolts were seized on my cinq - I replaced them with a washer and large self tapper into the front panel by drilling a small hole right next to the bolt hole

Right been to two scrappies today, only 1 Cinq :(

Eneded up getting some rear seats, front headlights were buggered unfortunately and the wheel arch linings were broken in the same place as mine.

Here is a pic of the donor car:
