You've done the front calipers red, so why not do the back disks red as well? Would look better, as wellsy said, needs some colour and red goes so well with black :p

Whats the best and easiest way to get the door handles off so i can CC them? or can you do it with the handles on the door?

also i still dunno what colour to paint the rear drums im still leaning towards black but other options are silver (like actual brake discs) or red....

if you mask properly theres no reason handles cant be done in situ
a heat gun would be your friend here but dont go mad

white callipots would be a nice background with a red led light show on them mounted via the inner wings/liner

As the picture shows the old ones were in a terrible condition haha, put the new Iridium sparks plugs in :D

also waiting on the new sporting steering wheel to come should be delivered either today or tomorrow (y)

Great looking car bud, a tad of colour would enhance it such as red rear clusters but in my opinion leave the drums well alone!!! I'm and old hand and have been to a lot of shows and the general feeling is that it's NOT COOL to advertise the fact your car has drum brakes, if you have a spot of cash you may find that the rear calipers from a HGTpunto will go on without any drama at all then you'll have a matching set? ............ Keep up the good work (y)

thanks! :) and yeah i had just started to consider changing the rear drums for actual discs but i just dont have a clue how it would all swap and how much i would/should spend on it all...?

got a few big updates on the car in the next month! (y)

Well off the top of my head i'ld say a set of good used calipers would be about £40 and you'll also need the mounting bracket too which should'nt cost a lot,a set of pads and discs (about £30 for the set) and maybe a new handbrake cable. To fit should be a doddle (I'm not sure how much mechanical knowledge u know) but if you can change a set of pads then you'll have no trouble doing this (y) and not only will they look better but your braking will be improved greatly :D

just found a whole rear beam with brake discs, calipers and brake lines from a 1.8 HGT for only £75 which sounds like an amazing deal! obviously i would have to go and check it out and make sure its all working...

Yep,straight swap, might be wise to stick new discs and pads on as well as changing the bushes and such while it's out on the ground? So at least it wouldn't fail the mot, these parts are cheap enough so makes sense (y)

Yeah i would do that that aswell plus it makes it look shiny and new if i have new discs (y)
hopefully its still for sale in a week or so as its my birthday this week so I am not gunna have time to sort anything like that out right now but its definitely on the high prioties list to be done in the next couple of months at least! :D
