Re: My Mk2 Punto 1.2 8v Project

How about adding a splash of colour? All that black is killing the look...I know there's the 'murdered' look but IMO punto's don't suit it. Possibly do red highlights in places such as a red lip for the alloys or something like that?

Just a thought...like the car though not hating

You've done the front calipers red, so why not do the back disks red as well? Would look better, as wellsy said, needs some colour and red goes so well with black :P

Re: My Mk2 Punto 1.2 8v Project

Whats the best and easiest way to get the door handles off so i can CC them? or can you do it with the handles on the door?

also i still dunno what colour to paint the rear drums im still leaning towards black but other options are silver (like actual brake discs) or red....

if you mask properly theres no reason handles cant be done in situ
a heat gun would be your friend here but dont go mad

white callipots would be a nice background with a red led light show on them mounted via the inner wings/liner

Great looking car bud, a tad of colour would enhance it such as red rear clusters but in my opinion leave the drums well alone!!! I'm and old hand and have been to a lot of shows and the general feeling is that it's NOT COOL to advertise the fact your car has drum brakes, if you have a spot of cash you may find that the rear calipers from a HGTpunto will go on without any drama at all then you'll have a matching set? ............ Keep up the good work
