Seicento DEATH of my Black beauty

Introduction

Hi all was getting my sei to where it was starting to look good then on tuesday on the way to work a 9.5 tonne truck took a dislike to it:cry:. The insurance are going knock for knock so no claim is going to be made but I now have a dead car on my drive.
It's repairable so could do with help with parts. Needed a wing pref in black, a bumper also in black if poss, and indicator and headlight.

Or if anybody wants it i could be open to offers. I just feel a little lost as to what to do.
Could you shoot some pics of the inner wing under the bonnet ?

What sort of money are you thinking of and where abouts are you ? Thanks.

Hi I'm in Dorset. I've had someone look at it and the inner wing is straightenable. No suspension or steering damage. :)
Just make an offer.
Though I am collecting parts to straighten. I have a replacement headlight now. Also standard orange indicators.

Thanks, youre a little too far for me, :(
but thats not a hard fix.

Good luck, i'd get it back on the road ! (y)

Thanks for your comments. :)
Anybody got a drivers wing?
Hopefully if it stays dry I can start to straighten the inner wing today.
Here's a pic of what it looked like before 4 hours of claybar and carnuba wax. :yum:
Oh! And 9.5 tonnes of body mods (n)

Hi all not sure if this thread is in the right place now.
Any way. I have just had the throttle body that i bought last week turn up. I was planning on doing a 40mm job. Also I was lining up a 1242 engine. Then the above happened. Now I've seen a very tidy mpi sporting also in black and I'm tempted to buy it. What i would like to know is are the mpi models as easy to tune as the spi. I've been searching on here for the last couple of hours but most of the tuning info seams to be spi.

ok i know alot on this matter so take my advice wisely,

SPI is really easy to do tuning and engine swaps on cos it use's the old big ecu which allows for 1242 16v mk1 punto sporting engine swaps which are almost plug and play.

MPI is a total PITA, dont do it unless you have pockets that will stretch to standalone engine managment, this is due to the fact they run a stupid little micro ecu that is the worst idea fiat ever came up with.

if you want a stock run around get an mpi, if you want to tune or swap the engines get an spi. i have just sold my mpi to my dad for his new project and i am now on the look out for a decent cinq or maybe an spi sei lol

Thanks for that is just what i need.
I bought this yesterday from Liverpool and drove it back to Dorset. It wasn't as nice in the flesh as in the pics. But is an mpi.
I'm looking at a 1.4 16v conversion and wasn't sure which car to do it on. As neither cars bodywork is where I'd like them to be. One for obvious reasons.

Blimey thats some trek !

But then i travel for cars too . Looks good in the piccy. (y)

it looks good the pics that were on the dealers website:). But there are some dents. Wing, hatch, roof. The rear wiper, doesn't work, the front ones don't self part and only work on fast or quick wipe.(n)
Still it sat at 80 down the motorway, it pulls better than my black one which has less miles on. It does have a nice tidy interior.(y)
I was hoping this one was going to be nice and straight. then I would have known which one to use as a donor & which one to have as a base for my project. Now I'm not sure.

I don't want much just a sraight tidy seicento with a mildly worked 1.4 16v. Oh and maybe a supacharger..... and some nice wheels........and coilovers.....
This forum has a lot to answer for.
I used to be all for the VW. When the black one got hit I looked at a few golfs nice tidy, some modded and you know what. I just couldn't get excited about them. I just wanted a nice Seicento.
