Punto (Mk2/2b) My Punto 1.2

Modification ideas:

Interior:
- Instrument cluster LEDs
- Footwell LEDs wired to the interior light
- Spray paint dashboard vents
- Chrome Gear Knob / Handbrake / Pedals

Exterior:
- Smooth Siding
- LED Wing Mirror Repeaters
- Tint Back Windows (can't see if this has been done)
- Colour Code Wing Mirrors
- Colour Code Door Handles

There are loads of modifications you can do apart from the usual body kit / alloys. I think the more subtle modifications look the best - keep the standard features of the car and enhance them! Most of this you could probably get away without telling the insurance company - for example door handles and mirrors, not that I am suggesting you SHOULD, but you COULD.

I have already tinted the back windows including boot door, I'm hoping to do the footwell LED's this weekend will consider the others.

Are you doing the footwells in a white light - the same as the standard interior light? If so take from my personal experience to go for a "warm white" colour, you can find them on e-bay for a fiver. Bright white doesn't match the interior light which is slightly yellowish

Yeah that was my plan, and fiver thats decent will have to do that at the weekend give me something to do seeing as I have the weekend off

I'm thinking bright white to match the interior light, and yeah sure I will

As I said, don't get bright white, you need to get a warm white, kind of yellowish colour - they are avalible on e-bay. The interior light is not white - its a kind of tinted yellow, won't match

Haha its always nice to get ideas of people this is my first car that i will be doing up, my old car wasnt even worth doing up lol i would of looked like a chav if i did

Will be ordering my footwell neons this weekend coming, also found a nice feed for them on passenger side and driver side. The feed comes from the interior light, my car did have these light up door sills but I think long had it now (no longer light up, previous owner fitted them) they got powered from this feed so I will be splicing the wires and feed the neons with it

Will update with pictures when it's all done!

Certainly does, especially when you thrash it down the motorway I think it'll sound a lot better when I throw in the induction kit which I'm hoping to sort out this weekend in my free time

Get those lights changed mine were like that and they look so much better when they clear

Just ordered myself a set of neons that'll be used for the footwells, should arrive by end of the week! :slayer:

If anyone has anymore ideas, then do feel free to throw them at me I might just consider them

Just a little update I have now fixed my power steering issue on my little punto It feels so much better than heavy steering :slayer:

Still waiting on my footwell neons, hopefully should have them by today or next few days
