Only got night shots tonight, some more again.

Any thoughts welcome though!

Also included some shots of the Coupe I traded in just for kicks.

And I've managed to get 2 flats in 4 days, and the locking nut was on so tight i sheared it off, just spent 6 hours drilling out them all and fitting standard bolts.

So in 13 days of owning it's cost me £300 for a timing belt and another £100 getting locking nuts drilled and tyres changed over.

Please tell me this isn't the sign of things to come.:bang:

Cars going in for the timing belt on thursday so hopefully no more issues. In the mean time I managed to order some new genuine mats since the ones I have has a nice hole in the centre of the drivers one. Also ordered some 25% tints for the back windows and got some black vinyl coming to fix those horrid door pillars and wrap behind the number plate.

Also someone seems to have nicked the P from the Punto badge on the back so gave me an excuse to debadge the whole thing.

And since having 2 flats in less than a week I decided to remove the plastic crap and slat a nice full size tyre in there, picking up a 17 inch wheel on Friday evening then I can rest easy for a little while hopefully!

Next month I've got silver pedals, xenon headlamps, wind deflectors, badge less grill and then hopefully onto lowering springs, or if I've got enough to play with I'll invest in coil overs. Time will tell.

Fantastic car mate. Take roundabouts at 40-50mph, no drama's. Was a 2 litre but just naturally aspirated so the Punto blows it away in acceleration terms. Thing is the Coupe could get to 130mph and you felt lie it was cruising, no wobble or nothing.

I'll miss it. But just need to get the Punto lowered and some decent tyres and never know, it might be a contender at the high speeds haha!

Yeah. Only thing really is leather heated seats and handling. But it's nice to finally sit toe to toe with 320 and 520's. Also overtaking isn't as hairy anymore haha.

Okay I had a go at the front grill removal befOre I go buying a badgeless one. How in the name of all that's holy does that come off? I've yanked as much as I can but really can't get a good grip since my fingers don't fit in the gaps. Advice wanted!

My black vinyl wrap arrived this morning so time to get behind the number plate done, and then that little central strut behind the top grill since I'll be getting a badge less one in the next few weeks, saves a job later.

Also got an Autobot badge coming for the back, I'm a nerd I need to keep up appearances lol.

New thick pile mats still waiting to be delivered but my tints have been made a shipped out today so fingers crossed won't be long.

Just went onto the DVLA site and purchased myself a private plate too, so it's all gradually coming together now after 3 weeks just :p

Got the cleaning gear out, number plate off, wrapped behind it, all done.

It actually does make such a bloody difference! Just need this badge less grill to hurry, spray it black and whack it on, then private plates in a fortnight should set it all off.

Hated that silver grill so ripped it out and sprayed on some matt black to match the bottom one. Waiting on it drying out, bagdeless one comes in a week or 2 so it's only a temp fix to take the bad look off it.

Pictures to follow when it's dried and fitted back on!(y)

Talk about double posting, this is a quadruple post or something? God knows!

Grills sprayed, I think it looks a lot better anyways!

As said the badge less grill will make a big difference but this is a decent compromise for now I think.

God I've been busy today, black grill, wrapped grill and then at 8 this evening I decided bugger it I'm dewipering the boot. That was a nightmare and a half, the bolt crumbled when turned off, wiper wouldn't move so ended up grinding it off.

Do I really need to remove the motor from the underside? I took the plastics off for a butchers at it but I really don't wanna do it case I sell on and some poor soul will have to fit the thing back in?

Never bothered with the rubber grommets either I just used some black vinyl and wrapped around where I grinded it off.

Only issue I can presume is it's still going to try and move the wiper when I'm reversing in the rain etc?

Any more advice with this would be brilliant, cheers!

I never even gave that a thought. Will need to break out the drill tomorrow then. Cars in for the timing belt today so won't be anything getting done today.

rear wiper doesnt come into the MOT so dont worry about that, but it will turn when you put it in reverse so unplugging it will be the answer but if uv got the tray off you might aswell drill the rivets and take the whole motor off, will look better with a grommet in

Aye will do mate after I've got it back tommorow from the garage. Few pints now so wouldn't be the best time to be battering ****e out it with a hammer lol
