I thought it was something like 'if the rear wiper was on the car as standard from factory and it is not there it is a MOT failure' that's why i never bothered to do it (n)

like you, I didnt want to drill the motor out for worry of resale. Im not sure on this im sure someone might know lol

Awk am not too fussed. Will drill it out. Tints tomorrow. New mats. Wind deflectors and xenon headlights on the way too! :)

Can always put it back on with some new rivets can't you? Or is it not possible?

Aye can do mate. Just some self tappers would do likely.

Got the xenon lights from eBay actually. Only a fiver. Should have them tomorrow they've been dispatched. Just need to work out how to replace the bulbs since I've never done it before. Tints on tomorrow with new mats so I'll get some pictures up then. Got a grommet from b&q to get the tailgate finished off nicely though so its all coming together.

Also got confirmation that my grills on the way :)

Cheers mate that'll help. If I get them tomorrow I'll have them, tints and mats. All coming together at last....4 weeks of owning haha

Will be getting the tints done properly. Spent about 4 hours trying to get them right and it's still a disaster looking. Any suggestions guys?

New mats look so much cleaner though!

Also got my V750 in the post so new plates are well on the way!

Did you get the film stuff off ebay or somewhere? I got that stuff and it turned out good and found it pretty easy. Did you use a soap and water solution to help get it in place before squeegy'ing out all the water and wrinkles?

Yeah was the films from eBay mate. Done all that but the problem was it looked perfect from inside but was creased to **** from outside. It's hard to tell if it's right when you're doing it. And once it's on and off it doesn't really sit back in place. Found a mob that'll do the back windows for £80 though so just going to invest in that next month.

Just saves hassle.

And my front grill came flying out on the motorway so this FK one better hurry the France up or I'm driving about with a dodgy looking front end.

Oh right, yeah it's hard to get right really, it's a 'has to be right first time' thing really. When I first done mine I didn't put it in the right place and had a corner with no tint on and had to start all over again. From then on it wasn't quite as good. £80 is pretty decent though!

Yeah I thought as much. And £80 to get it right first time and no fannying about etc.

Just wanting this grill to arrive since the other once in bits down the M74 haha.

Finally managed to pick up a hydraulic jack and axle stands for £20 today. Time to get the wheels off and get the callipers painted red me thinks!

Got my xenon headlamps fitted today. Took about an hour doing the first then about 20 seconds on the second. Easy once you get a feel for it. Also Debadged the boot and fitted my geeky Autobots one in its place. I'm a PC Engineer so something had to shout geek on my car lol.

I've got 215/45R17 on the back and reading around here I think they'll rub if I drop it lower.

So next month it's going to be Green Stuff brake pads and new drilled and grooved discs.

Then some new Goosyear 205/40R17 all round for £230. Means lower profile so if I shove on the Eibach springs I won't need to worry about anything rubbing. Plus on a lower profile tyre I think they'll look brilliant.

After that it's off to have the wheels refurbed. Any suggestions for good coloured wheels on my car?

Cheers.

Cars looking nice mate. I fancy a black grill. We are off to look at an orange one today for the misses. I always wanted an orange one but couldn't find one but it's now looking as though I'll have a black and an orange one :). As for your speed post I've had mine to 120 and it felt solid.

Looks really nice with the black/carbon fibre behind the number plate! how easy or hard was it to do?

Needing new brakes. Think my pads seized in the garage it was at. Any suggestions on good pads. Ideally just gonna do pads and discs on all corners really.
