Grande Punto My Sporting MJET

Introduction

Okay so owned this car since March of 2011 and just decided I'd post now, done a couple of bits already pretty standard things for these cars but I like them all the same :p

Done:

Tinting (Limo Black rear and back, 35% smoked front):

Powder coating of standard alloys (Satin black):

Will upload a pic of clean alloys when I take one today :yum:

Front grill vinyl:

Eibach sportline lowering springs

Pic taken day of install, waiting for them to bed in for better pic!

To do:

Forge intercooler and possibly induction??

Remap

MOT just flagged a slightly pitted brake disc so I'm thinking upgrade brakes soon to cope with remap :slayer:?

New wheel bolts, possibly red or black??

Real nice car mate!!

Love the alloys they look really tidy, and the ride height looks awesome! :slayer:

Whats the ride like with the sportlines?

Got a new pic showing the alloys and ride height better from last night before the snow got to it :bang: This is 2 days after they were installed!

Honestly I find the ride better with sportlines, the change is unbelievable with regards to body roll and I wouldn't even call it a hard ride...just firm :D

Very Nice not too far down the road from me

Where you at Tempz? I've seen a couple of modded black GP's lately around here (y)

Oddly enough i find the ride on my better with sportlines over standard. It is more comfy.

Im Living in Houghton le spring but in Hartlepool once a month.

Quite a tidy motor. Personally I'd take off those bump strips on the doors though, would look much better.

I'm jealous of the heavy M-Jets and how low they sit on sportlines :p

I've been debating with myself whether to for a while  I quite like the way they break the side up and can see them being a nightmare to put back on if I don't like the look with them off?

Very glad I took the forums advice on the sportlines, they really are very impressive for the money for both looks (Bloody arch gap is a joke on these lmao :bang:) and handling!

Quick update, chromed/silver indicator bulbs arrived today so fitted those :) Not a massive change but I like the subtle things!

And yes I did move the car between pictures, Damn side road where I park has a hell of a camber where a flowerbed used to be and couldn't get jack in properly lmao...

This has also made my drivers side new spring bed in quicker which could be a problem :/?

De-badged grill should also be coming tomorrow :D!

You've used external hosting site, you have to upload it to your FF Gallery, thats why the pics arn't working, the MOds will lock the thread until you change it! :)

What do you mean the pics aren't working? And the 20mb limit on pics in my gallery has been reached so it won't let me upload the recent ones into there.

Quick update, debadged grill came so today I sprayed that and fitted :)

And yes I've forgot to cover that B*****d red strip lmao! Tomorrow's job...
