He is a close up of the matt paint on the bumper inserts. It is 100% removable so I can turn it back to standard at any time.
I used a paint called Plasti Dip it is imported from America, it coats it in a flexible rubber paint that will peel off when it is not wanted. I am also going to coat the Abarth wheels with the same stuff so I can change them back to standard when I fancy it.

I made some new badges for the front and rear. Matt black with gloss black lettering.

Wow you 500 is one of the best look i've ever seen, it looks great!

when i first joined the forum i'd started looking for black fiat badges with white writing so would be tempted to give it a go

Very nice RUI. A lot of car for little money. Congrats. The 1.4 engine worked really well in the Panda. ESP/ASC as standard. Does it have B&Me as well ?

I would like to know as well. I think black Fiat badges will suit my car better as the original red ones look a bit odd with the "black and white theme" I have on the exterior.

The badges are just a sticker that goes over the original badge. I will put them up for sale on Cartel Parts with a few different colour combinations soon.

I have tried for ages to paint the standard badges from behind but it can't be done. I have destroyed 3 badges trying to get the back off.

It has bluetooth for the mobile phone but no blue and me.
The car is great fun to drive, I may find that I drive the wife's car more often now she has this. We did have a massive family car but now my son is 18months old we just don't need the space.

Given the recent 'exercise' on the boot & load capacity the Panda is certainly bigger but IIRC was a little narrower in the 'cockpit'. It will be an interesting comparison for you now with the 1.4 and the 1.2 in the 500. I would imagine that you will see the 'attraction' of the zipper engine. There's a gruffness at 4K when it's coming on cam. The 100HP could end up becoming a classic in time since they no longer make them.

No worries. Umm, I'm not sure what colour combinations would be best. Will you be able to make one set that has black background with white lettering and border and another set with black background with chrome/sliver lettering and border?
