Hey all! My name is Emma and I'm from Sheffield

Been looking at this forum for over a week now whilst I've been looking for a Fiat 500 for myself. Made a deal today with the dealers with my Bossa Nova White (I believe) 1.2 sport! So happy! This will be my first proper car as I've been driving my Grandad's CityRover yuck for nearly a year and a half.

Collecting it on Tuesday afternoon, can't wait! It won't look like this I don't think when I collect it. Getting black stripes fitted on the sides :slayer:

I've also got a question, where is the air con located? Do you press in the fan dial? I don't know if the dealer has fob me off.

Yes, press the dial in and it lights up (the centre bit) and your air con is on.

It is an unusual spec car - a Sport on Lounge wheels with a sunroof. The stripe will do it justice.

But is that a brown interior?

No it is - if you enlarge the picture of the interior you can see the snowflake symbol in the middle of the fan speed dial. That's the aircon.

Oh, phew! Rang the dealer before I posted just to make sure but wasn't totally convinced.

Yes, it is an unusual spec. I did think it was a Lounge myself but when the sales bloke told me it was a Sport, I was suprised.

What about the dark brown leather lol? The photo doesn't do it justice, the brown looks a bit darker in real-life. Before I saw the brown, I was liking black but I actually prefer the dark brown now.

Congrats on the new car - Noel is a terrific name for a new 500!

I think you're all good with it being a sport as it has a different gear knob to the Pop and Lounge versions. Also it looks like you have the white numbers on a black dial on the dashboard rather than the other way round? If so then you're all good

Robin <3 let me guess.... You dont like the brown seats? LOL I really like them though even if i prefer the chequered ones.

I'm not doubting it in anyway at all. I'm very pleased with it! I was just was wondering with the air con and I don't care if its Bossa Nova White or Funk White, its white

It is BNW - Funk is a metallic oyster colour.

Me too You don't see too many cars with this colour, but with black 90% of them, so is quite unique

I love the brown seats - I test drove a 1.2 Sport with the brown leather interior and you're right, the pictures just don't do it justice. And the leather is so much nicer than the leather I had in my Celica and Beemer. I didn't get the Sport that I drove cos it was silver - and I wanted white.

I've got Noel! It sadly went dark really quickly when I finally got him so I've got no good photos of him with his black stripes. I'll probably post some better photos in the next couple of days. So far I really, really like him! So much easier to drive than my Grandad's CityRover! Going to discover everything he can do tomorrow

Here's a quick shaky snap I took with my phone just after I got home! I think the stripes look ace!

Looking really good. Mind out parking on the pavement - you don't want to mark your alloys (or pick up a pram scratch).

That, and pavements are for people to walk on and people with wheelchairs and prams to use.
