Cheers all, we are excited now as should collect tomorrow. The added swirls on bumper and bonnet are bespoke and may not actually be staying with the car! The black bits seem a bit "dominant" perhaps too masculine as the car is for my missus who is a "girly" girl. Didnt see one as they were a new model when we ordered the only pic was on the configurator.

I don't really expect the headlight washers to be any good as they are only added as its a legal requirement for those lights - cynical? Me?!

We have bought it together but really it belongs to my wife, and yes, very pleased indeed ;)

Cheers for the positive comments guys (y)

5 days in...

The black alloys show a lot more dirt than conventional silver versions.

The car really does feel big car like and is surefooted in all scenarios except mid to large potholes. The 45 profile rubber bands contribute greatly to this. (We drive a Land Rover Discovery 3 as the other car so cant help comparing - but the little 500 does very very well)

Road noise is extremely low for such as small and thin lump of stuff.

The headlight washers are very effective actually, the car is 5 days old and extremely dirty from the country lanes - except that is from the headlights and a nike esque swoosh down each side where the overspray from the washers has gone.

Current consumption in its first 400 miles - just 43.5mpg but we expected that from other posts on here.

Dualogic is great. Paddles also work in auto mode.

The black roof is real special, very nice metal fleck in it. You get black A pillars and roof lining too reminiscent of early RS Fords and current sporty BMWs

Interscope is worth every penny and more, the sub under the drivers seat sucks your hand in to INXS played at good volume, it really goes for it but you would not know that its sound was not coming from the midrange speakers.

The leather is very high end.

You cannot get much of anything anywhere in these cars but we did test it to the limit, our day to day stuff will just require a seat for the little lady and space in the boot for the laptop bag.

Overall, very very impressed, do these italian (polish) cars still have a rust reputation though?

Many thanks.
Regards

...

Car looks super and looks a bit like the TA with the Abarth pack since that's only available in the red and the black. Front flaps look fine but I did see a set of rear 'home made' flaps on a 500 (had a link to it - it was advertised on carzone - but sold now) that looked the part.

What's that symbol next to the Twin Air badge ?

Cheers, the Abarth pack stickers for the bonnet may find their way onto this car.....;) if the wife wants that is, I don't like the side body kit so will leave that alone, and wouldnt wanna be a "wanna be"(y)

The badge next to the TwinAir is a Nurburgring one.....and yes we have been unlike all the boy racers that wear them on 15 year old plus Saxos and Astras!!!

The skirts could get 'messy' if you have to jack the car up - quite a few damaged ones on the Abarth side. Personally I think it would look good on the red and I might be tempted if I had yours particularly since they are now a 'dealer option'. I can fully understand if you prefer to keep the 'clean lines' and leave it 'standard'. I like the Nurburgring badge with the Twin Air one - it suits it.(y)

I think that we are on the same wavelength actually. I keep meaning to rehearse with the trolley jack to find the best and safest jacking, I certainly would not want the added worry of more fragile skirt there, but likewise - I would not take them off an Abarth because of this.

When we had the winter tyres fitted I should have looked at how they had it up.

I have told the missus she must tell Mr AA to use the Fiat jack if she gets a flat when I can't rescue her as I do go away a lot.
