Hi, yeah I know what you mean, I want to do soo much.. I got my roof rack today and fitted it now just need to order a fairing from America!.. Lol and stay tuned I might get a set of RH ZW1's . Still need to update as no ones seen my Porsche wheels lol..

your basically going for everything I want aha! need some lovely deep dish alloys roof rack will look sick definatly a fan!

Paying for the rh splits tomorrow!.. But there 4x108 so some staggered adapters and will look lovely lol.. Cheers mate!.. They do look really good!.. With the roof rack on next to a standard gp it's the same height!.. Lol.. I'll put some pictures up when I'm on my laptop and some of the wheels!..

you going for a propper euro/rat look? is the roofrack guna have an oil drum and some old suitcases on it like propper rat cars and love the RH alloys. you guna spray them? white lip black spokes ftw. or vise versa.

They just had a refurb ( thatswhy there soo expensive! ) So just gonna keep them as they are, polished lip and a really shiny sparky silver centres!..and for the roof rack, I'm not really going for the rat look just the clean simple euro really, just gonna get a fairing and whack my bike on the top for shows lol hehe..

Are you gonna get camber and spacers?

Nice tjet bud, im liking the lows just watch your driveshaft doesnt pop out of the cup as they are known to, due to being too short

its not that low in my eyes, used to be around 130mm but my driveshaft popped out twice as you say so, for now its a 110 and doing fine, in that picture of my first post it was at 90mm at the front but lower now!!

I won't need spacers as the offsets are perfect really and there's enough camber with the coilovers on lol. I already put quite alot of camber on the front

Gdgd, well i was thinking a while back for mine, there are 2 ways to go lower 1 is get a custom shaft or 2 is get some engine/gearbox spacers, i recently went to edition 38 which is a vw show and there is alot that raise there engine to save sump smashing and driveshaft problems, worth a look into

Yeah, I was there aswell jsust went I'm my mates bready. I got a quote aggesss ago for raised engine mounts but were £300!! Rather just get a new spider joint each time lol

Next big update,

I started to look for a set of euro-ish 16's for my gp as 17's looked abit big.. so i found a nice set of glossy black porsche boxster s alloys, they seemed a little narrow but at that point i didnt care lol.. 6j fronts, 7j rears
Anyway pictures!!



and after fitting them, grinding down the rear brake a little to fit the adapters.



The lows got abit too serious at this point!!



After Fitting them and drving for abouttt.. 15minutes i took them off and where up for sale :'( ..just too low!! i would love it if i could have kept them but i had to wind the coilies soo high and it was still only 1cm off the ground, it scraped on straight roads lol..

but anyway.. back to the sporting alloys..
after a week ( THE SAD PART ) my driveshaft decided it didnt like being on my car and exploded.. tbh i shouldnt have wheel span but i did :'( .. the whole gearbox end smashed into my bottom pulley ripping that up.. all the lube come out!!.. boot was shredded.. absolutely fu**ed ... and my holiday was two days away!! .. i had to push it to the side of the road and had to wait only for a flat bed as AA come to me and said, its too low! lol.. couldnt fit anything under it.. so 6 hours later for a flat bed and was to low.. he decided to drive me home first to get my low jack and i would the coilovers up for him lol..


i left it on my drive broken went on my holiday, got back and ordered in a spider joint for the closest fiat dealership.. fitted it and wound it up about half way.. drove to the end of my drive and POP!!.. again :/ ..so ordered another AND fitted the standard suspension back on :'( i left it like that for a couple of months until i fitted them again!! LMAO!! ..
a little change while it was on stilts was the wiper plug..


hated the look of it until it was back low..only changed a few parts and after just left it until i lowered it again..



I won an abarth back box on ebay for around £120 posted and fitting it was..fun.. realized the bore was bigger so the clamp i bought was pointless.. so got my friend and he welded it on all the way around and tightened the clamp on top aswell..


after fitting i didnt like.. way too low :'( anyone for swaps!!????
and was back to the old plates, got pulled 3 times for the italian font pressed ones..

after a week i booked home garage floor space.. and fitted my COILIES again!
and lowered it gradually.. carefully..nicely this time lol

lowered that day..and dirty..

a couple of days later..

another few days..lower!

..Still to come.. another update of how it looks right now! nearly there in the build.. so more lows..my roof rack fitted..wind deflectors..custom stickers and a set of RH SPLITS!

Ordered a roof bars and wind deflectors on the 22nd september..roof bars arrived on saturday and wind deflectors still havent arrived!!! WTF..
anyway..i forgot to add..i fitted the cupra splitter, which i must say when ur GP is lowered it is quite hard to fit..a couple of hours it took but i did do it by myself with one jack :'( lol.. looks lower at the front as the Gp has a raised nose

Anyway, roof bars fitted and I LIKE!! .. i think it looks really cool actaully lol..my girlfriend says it makes my car loo lie my grandads :S but ay how, my car lol..


ow and lower again! its at 110mm drop at the front and about 100mm at the rear..

RH ZW1'S are on there way!
alot needs to be ordered though.. going to get smaller spacers for the front and stud conversion..and probably two new nankangs for the rears as one tyre is low and i hate odd tyres lol..

Also, stickerbomb the roof rack!

its a t-jet badge, sprayed fiat white and im not sure what to do with the roof bars. thinking of getting a fairing at the front and putting my number plate up there and getting the front bumper smoothed lol i dont know where i can get away with having my number plate though.. in the window would be cool aswell..

I tried this but by law it has to be at the furthest front point of the car.

little update, just going out to smooth the number plate away and put it in the window, see how long until i get pulled lol

Agh just read your previous post!.. I've took the number plate off the front and just put it in the window, sprayed a big piece of vinyl the right colour and put it where the number plate was so all smooth!.. Just have to stick the plate back on then
