it might not seem it yet but alot has been changed..
it looks the same because of having the same wheels but just stick around..

First thing i did was change the grill, i picked him up my bradford, 200miles away from home lol..that night i fitted my grill..the morning after i took all the stupid dealer stickers off and the punto badge aswell..used heat and a card to peel the letters off then a toffee wheel for the adhesive!..shiniest piece on my car now lol..

wp000319.jpg

and de-tangoed my headlights
wp000320y.jpg

the next day i de-wipered the tailgate, this took the p*ss ..the wiper was seized on!!..took 30mins of continuous wriggling to pop it off..next drilled out the rivets and took the motor out and plugged it up!...love the look. no big plastic wiper. smoother
wp000331.jpg

next i decided to do something about the front headlights so got in contact with lamin-x and they sent out a sample for me.. i decided to not waste it and tinted my rear badge with it.
wp000334.jpg

liked it so far so ordered to massive sheets totaling around £45..cheaper than abarths..

Subcribe maybe? or stay intouch..much more to come at this point :)
any comments welcome! ..
Admiral seem to be the best atm.[/QUOTE]

Admiral seemed very good for me aswell!.. On my first car which was a 58 Clio 1.2 it was £900! Awesome.. £6500 for my tjet though :S lol.. It will drop with age defenatley but best with no claims cus that gives u bonuses ect

the new update!.. they will still be a few more to come but dont want to show everything straight away! lol plus takes forever!! so enjoy and any comments are welcome!

next up just after lowering was footwell lights!.. my dad has a big posh audi s6 with all the bits and nice lights everywhere, so i copied! lol..
wp000388.jpg

wp000386l.jpg

they are white btw lol

next up was my budget induction kit.. it was a £10 filter from eBay and i made sure it was a double coned one so no bits got into my turbo!!.. i realized how less restrictive it would become once it was fitted..it was done within 5 mins!! and makes the best sound ever!!..when in the wrong gear and planting your foot it sounds like a airplane plopellor! really good :) and so loud honestly lol
anyway a picture!
wp000418.jpg

next was more lows!!.. after about 2 days of fitting the coilovers i wound them down another 4cms at the front and 2cms at the back..still wasn't low enough but okay for then..
wp000429w.jpg

next was the begging of fitting my sub woofer.. actually beggining of the wiring madness! first trying to get a good strong signal for the audio.. i wanted the same HU as i dont like aftermarket units..sorry to anyone!! don't mean it badly, just enjoy blue and me and the steering controls so finding a signal for a rca converter!
wp000455v.jpg

i couldn't get a clear signal, well i was picky lol.. so i revised into it and found a subwoofer loom in the boot! so spliced all the wires and attached the cables there, there's a ground cable and all the speaker cables and a continuous 12v as well all there! .. i wanted to make a build and have a small 8" sub that i could hide away to the side of the boot but the amp blew three times!!.. drove to halfords all annoyed and bought a vibe( i think) sub with built in amp and fitted it in sounds awesome lol..
wp000463.jpg

alot of mess in there, alot of wires being cut! lol

next day my smoked repeaters arrived from bidding £14 on ebay for them
as someone said earlier, i have got them :p lol
wp000464.jpg

ill update again tomorrow as there's more to come!!! hope you like for far and any comments are welcome!! stay in touch as it will be updated again tomorrow! :)

sorry, a better pictures of the lows! bad phone camera at that point lol..
wp000430.jpg

front scrapes on big speedbumps now ;) but remember its still lower at this point in time!!.. just haven't got to that part it the thread yet :)

Do you ever get pulled over for the plates?

Hey Buddy.

I'm a copper. So the answer is he SHOULD get pulled as it's not the standard british font used. Therefore our ANPR systems have trouble reading the plate because of it being raised and what not.

If he does get pulled over he should be given a notice period to have them changed and to prove it.

Shame however, I rather like them plates!

I know what you mean! Surely with todays materials and tech you think they could make a similar plate which the machine could recognise! It picks up the black areas out the reflective backing right?

Looking at his plate. Doing a standard and non standard.... I don't actually see why the ANPR wouldn't catch it to be honest. Although it's raised, the font is very nearly the same. I'd only be a bit iffy with how reflective it is.

However, it's hard to guess... Computers have minds of their own.

On another note - Has anyone else got one of them Air filters? I'm really tempted to get one, I understand you need to cut and mould the pipe as it's not a circle it's an oval shape (Why do Italians have to be awkward?!)

Don't need to cut or shape anything.

If you use the K&N filter as inspiration, you can totally remove the airbox. Whip up a quick brace (which bolts into place) and just wang a twin cone filter into place.

Did it to mine, after my GSR intake didn't fit the MultiAir.

Sounds glorious. Lots of fun hearing that turbo woosh and the dump valve go Pssh!

Hi everyone!.. Yeah those plates were bad lol.. I got full British standard Charles wright fonted ones off eBay and there all good.. With I could have the old ones tho :( .. And i dontmwant my windows tinted..not going for that look really lol .. And it's not oval.. Take the black box off and the filter out and you'll see the pipe is a circle.. Just use the same clamp and away you go..

Oh really? So, the huge box you remove that completely? Thanks for the info! (y)

yeah exactly as said above my previous post, simply unscrew the black box to the lest with a Phillips, take the lid off loosening the clamp , take the filter out and put ur new cone onto the pipe using the same clamp. Its a perfect circle, and the best sound!!

Yepp it was lol..have no idea mate, just a universal one!.. Measure the diameter of the induction pipe, u can do that by undoing the metal clamp and pulling the pipe of the airbox and just measure it lol..then find a universal one nearly same same diameter if a little smaller cus u can always tighten the clamp more :)

Couldn't catch u!.. Was filling up and just spotted you lol.. If u want to get an idea u just see mine if u wanted first?. I don't mind, I live opposite jet garage! Lol on the newish estate on the left from the direction u was driving, if u get me? :s
