Right so im a complete newbie to the fiat world having been on the dark side of Peugeots pretty much all my life!!

so moving onto my little Seicento Sporting 1.1......

I want to keep the car looking clean with a few little engine tweaks here and there, as i am a fan of the low n slow as well as the race look too...

Future Plans:
Lower 50mm
Strut Braces
Something wheel related
Clear Indicators
Aero Wipers
Sportex Exhaust
Induction Kit
Cold Air Feed
Mattig Wing Mirrors
Colour Coding

Right so heres how the car looks in all its standard glory - there are a few dents here and there but that will be sorted soon...

the car has cinquecento sporting alloys because I kinda prefered them and where in better condition lol

so today (24/8/11)

most of my bits arrived - im still waiting on my mattig mirrors atm, but as they will require lots of work not major worried at the moment.

Had these fitted in around a minute!!!

i found these fairly hard to get hold of as most scrappies didnt have them lol

These were brand new off ebay and fully emarked!! prefer these so much to the originals and took roughly 2 minutes each side (amazed at how easy theyre to work on touch wood)

Ive always like the pressed alloy numberplates that are available, but didnt want to get the italian style ones, instead I opted for the UK legal ones, £26 off ebay, really good quality and come with the charles wright font etc etc

right now theyre stuck on with double sided tape, has anyone any better solutions to keep them on??

they make the front n rear end look so much cleaner and smooter too..

Since ive owned the car the wiper hasn't worked, so i decided to take it off (yes it rains heavily where I live and I have coped fine. I also read about the guide on how to fix the motor so may give that a bash.)

To plug the whole i purchased some plastic bungs off ebay - 10 for 2 quid!! i researched on here first to get the diameter lol

like I said i will get some better pictures once its daylight and shes cleaned, next i wanna get colour coding the handles and sidestrips where that orange 'flash' is (anyone know if its a sticker - i thinks it is, will it be painted underneath? also im having a difficult tim sourcing grigio steel 647 spray paint, soon as i get that I can do the door handles etc.

Hopefully tomorrow my Mattig mirrors should be here...

Enjoy..

small update, purchased a green cotton panel filter, waiting to be delivered. still being pissed around with my mattig mirrors so had to buy another pair - which luckily are at the depot lol so come tomorrow should have my panel filter, and mirrors (both pairs hopefully.)

Re: Mattig Mirrors

right well so here is one of the sets of mattig mirrors i purchased - theyre off a renault 5 gt turbo with the backing plates smoothed in, now gotta try n work out how the hell to fit them - would it be best to bond straight to bodywork?

also tonight hoping my panel filter will be waiting for me.....

Re: Mattig Mirrors

looking good my only idea on fitting the mirrors would be if there is holes for bolts drill holes in the bodywork so they are aligned and bolt it and also a squeeze of tigerseal to seal it.

Good luck fitting them

Re: Mattig Mirrors

Right well after much back n forwardness, my other mattig mirrors arrived today!!! as did my green cotton panel filter (sorry no pix)

these mattigs do not cme with backing plates so am in 6 minds whether to as above ^^^^^^ n drill or fabricate new backing plates:

Re: Mattig Mirrors

take your view into consideration etc, but i like them, also mine dont look exactly like yours mine are mattig mirrors, which imo look better than dtm. also i like em on your car todger182, so meh...

any new ideas? What's next?

well i didnt go with the mattig mirrors, didnt reli like them when on lol, then as ull probably see from my other threads my alternator went, which coincendently was fixed today, so have new alternator and new bosch battery also. so next is a induction kit, lowering and then exhaust. i will paint my cinq sport alloys black too. im gonna stickerbomb the petrol cap too. but yh progress has been slow, but literally just starting up again.

right so not much happening atm, wired up my h4-3 HIDS yesterday got the 6000k ones and theyre Bloody bright lol pix will follow. jus waiting for paypad and hopefully will see her lowered and an exhaust. then im gonna refurb my cinq alloys in a siper high gloss black. got a few stickers for the back too - probs bit marmite etc or whatever....
