right lol started to make a new set of custom baseplates for my bullet mirrors, first of all i drew myself a template of the shape of required baseplate. i just traced the outline and then kept neatning up until i had something that resembled a baseplate.

Re: Where 'Rat Look' Left off..

obviously in the above stage its rough, so i then started to craft the actual baseplate, it took a lot of cutting and shaping, and then more cutting and then smoothing over the dges etc. its still nowhere near being done as i need to roun the edges slightly more, sand, prime, smooth etc. the reason i didnt just smooth the meatl over (few pix above) was i wanted it slightly more accessible should i need to remove it - that and oh, i cant weld very well ;) but i thought it would be a good idea to see if i can make a baseplate.

The last pic is a basic mock up of it on the car, a few edges will be smoothed in, and it still doesnt sit 100%, im really happy with the outcome though - btw the pencil marks are templates so i know what angle to put the mirror on an where to drill and glue lol ;) the mirror would be on right now had ebay sent me m6x10 bolts instead of m5x14 lol, anywhere you get the general idea :D

Right so im a complete newbie to the fiat world having been on the dark side of Peugeots pretty much all my life!!

so moving onto my little Seicento Sporting 1.1......

I want to keep the car looking clean with a few little engine tweaks here and there, as i am a fan of the low n slow as well as the race look too...

Future Plans:
Lower 50mm
Strut Braces
Something wheel related
Clear Indicators
Aero Wipers
Sportex Exhaust
Induction Kit
Cold Air Feed
Mattig Wing Mirrors
Colour Coding

Right so heres how the car looks in all its standard glory - there are a few dents here and there but that will be sorted soon...

the car has cinquecento sporting alloys because I kinda prefered them and where in better condition lol

so today (24/8/11)

most of my bits arrived - im still waiting on my mattig mirrors atm, but as they will require lots of work not major worried at the moment.

Had these fitted in around a minute!!!

i found these fairly hard to get hold of as most scrappies didnt have them lol

These were brand new off ebay and fully emarked!! prefer these so much to the originals and took roughly 2 minutes each side (amazed at how easy theyre to work on touch wood)
