Punto (Mk2/2b) My Little Blue 2B

Introduction

I have made a new thread because it feels like a fresh start.

I have done as much as I can get away with as I have not even been driving a year yet.

Hopfully in time my Insurance will allow me to get lowerd and fit an GSR induction kit.

I hope you like it.

any comment good or bad is worth posting, it will help me in the future if not with this car than another, thanks in advance for any posts :)
Yer oh rite that is fair enuf. i know what you mean luckly the rear bumper on these does go quite low so you cant really see what is under neath.

I quite like them white on that colour blue but light silver does sound gd too.

Insurance got back to me -

they will not let me have anything that inproves torque, bhp or handeling

really put me in a bad mood but im 18 iv got plently of time for those kind of things, i think im going for gun metal alloys next.

then its finished project , untill i can find someone who will let me make some real 'mods' ,

thanks for taking an intrest in my thread

Hey Guys,

Iv got abit of an oil leak under the bonnit, (see pics below)

im not to good with this kind of thing, could someone let me know what the problem might be or what needs replacing?

thanks in advance for any replys

sorted the leak :/ dont know why i worry about things like that when they mean nothing at that level of leakage lol

GUYS

im getting my stock alloys resprayed !

i love the way white looks but im abit bord as insurance wont let me do anything else, so i fancy a change, im thinking of going back to the stock silver, as i do like that colour quite abit, and white is a bugger to clean all the time!

if you guys have any ideas on colours that would go with my blue, please let me know! im up for anything as i like to turn heads when possible :)

cheers in advance

sounds and looks good mate :) told you the exhausts are very good do a good professional job at fitting...was he ok with you about it? how much did he charge if you dont mind me asking?

also to keep it that shiny use t-cut metal polish...its great with it mate i use it on mine...after a while the exhaust will go like a duller colour and just polish it back up :)

it cost 124.00 cos i only got the backbox, i didnt think getting a full system was a good idea as im not planning on induction kits or remapping anytime soon.

and yeah he was a really nice bloak tbh maby its a frount like you said tho, but they dont half have some decent cars turn up at there door to look at exhausts tips and re-mapping i would advise any longlife shop in the uk after my experience

Car is looking Mint! Would of gone for a mk2 instead of a punto evo if there were some out there like yours. I like your taste in mods and love the new exhaust. Keep it up

thanks man, i like your car its got great pertenshal, remember iv almost had my car a year now, its about doing things you can do yourself keep trying stuff thats cheap but doesnt look to cheap and if you dont like it take it off and think of a new idea, like for instance you talk about getting new alloys and stuff, i would consider refurbing in white or light silver so there nice and smooth and putting fiat centre caps in.

you can never try enough mods as a young lad :) only live once

 you got a good price mate...cost me £170 and that was after hours of arguing he wanted £250 at first after asking for only £150 originally...i kicked up a fuss and he blagged £20 for tip/centre mounting and called it £170 LOL and thats just backbox mate....no point getting middle pipe you can get a straight through pipe as stock mate...and for a 4-2-1 manifold he was trying to blag for legal reasons i could only have it if i paid for a £300 sports CAT on top...sum it up great quality exhausts but **** customer service :)

that exhaust looks mint though bud on yours :)

we use to send all our business to them for custom exhausts use to give them ferrari's, evo's all top end cars, but we have now moved our business else where due to there attitude

I would love to get a GSR and get lowerd 35mm but its just not possible on insurance, not untill i renew with a different company after 1 years no claims anyway. we'll see what the future holds

Love the colour.

What %age is the window tint?

I haven't seen the blue strips on the grill before, very original. Nice. Where did you get inspiration from for that?

Also see you've painted the rear boot lock. I think I need to do that with mine... (y)

dont know where i got idea for the grill from tbh lol just thought it might look cool.

the window tint is 'limo' what ever that is lol

and yeah i think the boot lock is a nice touch, go's with the rest of the car now seen as every plastic part on the car has been sprayed with matt black or colour coded :)

Future Mods over the next 6 months;
