also the drums would look nicer in black and the calipers in red drums look abit weird in bright colours.

also on the 2b stock alloys look the best it just needs lowering

Looks nice and tidy (y)
If i were you i would buy some mk2 rear lights and sell your mk2b lights as the ones you have are worth more that mk2 ones and if you are going to tint them anyway you wont tell the difference :D

Re: Mk2 Active Sport 1.2 8v

lower it slightly and you'll be onto a winner, with the wheels i wou7ld go no bigger than 15's as 16s cost alot more for there tyres and 17's look to big and put alot of strain on the poor puntos parts.

Yeah, i've heard alot of people on 17" rub alot which was I was debating but they would look too big true.

How much would you recomend lowering it by? I don't really want it too low but im not sure ha

O yeah it suppose it would look better, and the stock alloys are ok but they are common (being stock wheels). What you guys think if I sprayed them black?

Aha nice, i'll check the price out on both cheers for the tip!

yeah they could look nice in black i supose , the only thing is the badge is blue, and blue and black tend not to go togeather, so maby some red abarth centre caps would look nice if you spray the alloys black? these can be found on ebay easyly, and yeah they are common but because they look good lol trust me iv been through countless aftermarket alloys and iv always ended up with the stock ones sprayed white back on my 2b they just go with the car, a 50mm drop all round suits the 2b most , main thing is make sure ur shocks are up for the 50mm drop and not ready to fall off ;p

i think the best colour for your alloys with your colour car would be gun mental colour with red abarth centre caps.

debadged grill debadged boot black drums 50mm drop all round, speakers sub and aftermarket headunit so u can use ipod in car :)

edit: oh and debadge the active sport badges punto badge 'takes 2mins' use tooth floss a hairdryer and some t cut, OH anddd tinted side repeaters have a look at my thread too see them if you havnt before. they would look great on your car. p.s sorry im acting like its my car but atleast you have some ideas now lol

Yeah cheers for the tips, il photoshop it to see what the wheels and centre caps look like and I might go for it + i'll try and lower it slightly.. I didn't think de badging it would be that quick to be honest.

I was thinking about getting a coloured ring on the wheels eg. red but not sure, i'll need to photoshop it again to find out really.

What you think about tinted front headlights, I reckon it would work well with the colour of the car.

Your punto looks cool, how much is yours lowered by + i'm liking your side repeaters I might have to copy :D

Thanks for the ideas

Something like this? Photoshopped the wheels and lowered it slightly.

thats the one (y) yeah the headlights would look good.

mines not lowerd at all, im only 18 iv only just got 1 years no claims so im holding on another 6 months before i get another quote on a 50mm drop all round

iv just put a strut brace in tho. the handleing is very good

Ill probs wait too before lowering it, wha tyou think about the coloured strip around the wheels?

Any thoughts on the wheels? + if i was going to go for a red and grey theme, what other parts would you guys recomend getting red?

2B lights are fine as they are they look good, yeah the red strip looks ok, it might make them look abit smaller than they are which doesnt help when you havnt been lowerd, i wouldnt make it too in your face, just make it look nice. if you have a car that has looks that are really in your face you want the 0-60 to be in ur face and cars like ours are not built for it lol no matter what you do you wont get people inpressed with a 1.2 8v its just the way it is. just make it look how you want and dont get disheartend if people stick there noses up at it, because your more than likely to get someone like that on here.

front brake calipers? maybe tint the rear light indicators red. some of the interior trims? depends on if you want a subtle red/grey theme or something more in your face.

Hmm I could do that with the light yeah, I just want a subtle red and grey combination nothing too bright and over powering haha

Yeah true, the wheels would look smaller but they'd look good, and i'll give it a shot photoshopping some more and adding red parts, cheers!

just do the simple stuff first like debadgeing and colour coding the wingmirros and door handles, there the main thing that makes the car look better

I just noticed something, if I do debadge the boot, the boot dips inwards like an indent where the badge is, well it looks like it is anyway :p

+ colour coding the mirrors/handles won't really make a difference because the colour is almost the same, I think it'd be hard to tell

Go for the red stripe on the alloys. You can get 6mm red vinyl stripes in halfords, for about £3, theres enough on the roll to do the 4 wheels.

This is my wheel, before I changed them to gun metal grey.

Ignore the damaged paint lol, petrol spillage...

Here's a pic of them on the car,

And here's them now - Audi Grey Metallic & Fiat gold metalic stripe.

to "fully" debadge a mk2b, u will have to fill the hole and respray... the "punto" badges etc tho are just stuck on with sticky pads. bit of heat, some fishing wire, some glue remover/tar remover or even wd40 and some elbow grease will shift it all. same process applies to the door bump strips.
colour coding wise, it wont make overall difference in colour as you said, BUT it will give a much nicer quality feel to the car.
