Hey guys, i finally upgraded my 1.2 blue GP to a orange T-jet!! absolutely love the Caribbean Orange on these cars, and cant believe the speed of them since ive only every driven my 1.2 . I only brought this car yesterday and it gets delivered tomorrow, i really cant wait! and for some reason my insurance on the T-jet is the same price as my 1.2! so even better.

Anyway, enough about that mods to be done on the styling!!
-Black alloys
-Badgless front grill
-vinyl between the grills
-vinyl roof (maybe)
-black wing mirrors (maybe)
-Tinted windows 80% rear, 30% front.
-Lowered, not too much tho, maybe just about 30mm.

Heres a couple of pictures i took in the showroom as i brought it, ill get more pictures up soon once i get hold of it tomorrow!

hey, thanks. I turned 20 2 months ago only got 2 years NCB and my insurance is 1.1k, which i cant really complain at for the car since my friends are paying a lot higher for slower, older, heaps of junk lol.

Only just got the car in time too!! when i went in a couple were already half way through sorting the paper work out to buy it!! luckily i had sorted a price and what not out the day before incase i didnt buy the other one i looked at the same day and the salesman just got it all up straight away and i managed to get a deal/deposit on it seconds before they did!! was pretty tense lol. Thank god they work on commission only or he probably wouldn't have worked as fast as he did to confirm the purchase !!

yeah im hopefully going to upgrade when im about 19-20 bit of no claims bonus to help the insurance down a bit aslong as it gets better to the current 3 grand!

Im 23 with 4 years NCB and my insurance on a t-jet is £550 so it will come down lots

But yea the car looks in good condition, really like the orange on the grande. Mods sound good too, will also keep an eye on this thread

Orange :yum: best of look with the TJet, keep an eye on the gearbox though they are a weak point on the TJet.

If you are looking to lower it, might I suggest you look no further than eibach sport lines, had them on the mjet for about two years, makes a huge difference

if you do look into modifying the engine i would be careful of the gearbox as the main drive bearings in mine disintergrated even the guy who rebuilt my gearbox with stronger bearings said the originals just arent up for the job, mine also has the eibach sport lines cant fault them not too low but combined with the forge under body braces excellent on cornering

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments!!, yeah the sportlines were what i was aiming for.
They are soo quick compared to my 1.2 lol, and get so many looks driving around town!

Only one little problem is when they pulled the advertising stickers off the bonnet the lacquer came off to!! they have it booked in for a full bonnet respray on thursday tho for free so im happy .

Yes, you saw right, de-badged! i couldnt believe it when i saw lol, looks amazing, cant even tell where the holes were!

Had quiet a few police following me around tho cuz i look really young and in a 'sports' car lol, not been pulled over yet tho, dunno if they are admiring or checking every things up to date lol

more than likely checking everything is legal lol, dw about insurance it comes down alot the first year or so is just a pain in the arse.

1100 is quite good, I'm same age and ncb as you but I live in the sticks and my premium was just under 800, that was when I was 19 though.

Wish I could get a free respray on my bonnet, it's a stone-chip fest

Hey guys, thanks for the comments and yeah, i liked the debadge so much, ive now done my first modification!! new grill on front more de-badging. Think it looks amazing!! little touches always look the best, gonna get some vinyl in between them this weekend

Its the FK grill, They are for sale for 18 euros, have to be shipped from germany tho , only ordered it saturday night and came this morning so its pretty good delivery, very easy to fit as well, took about 30 seconds to change them over lol

Right, just had time to change my bulbs before the light went down, put some nice white lights in them and im happy with the results did main lights first then the fogs. coming along nicely !!

fits perfect and matches the bottom grill very well

As for the de-badge rear, i think it may be filler thats set in the hole then sanded down and painted, either way its had a very good job done on it
