pretty sure the OLD one did get scrapped,
but not until it's been used as a donor to save the lovely F reg in the sig photo,

I'm afraid so gezza unfortunately his condition deteriorated somewhat over the years and I ended up repairing one hole only to find an even bigger one later and with limited welding experience it just became something that I was unable to continue with so I hatched a new plan and just bought another one for half the price of fixing the old one up not to mention about 2 years worth of time and like Charlie said I just stripped it down for parts and transferred them over to the "new" one that means the new engine and brake and suspension set up too. Took a while to get it all over but I got there in the end
