Re: Bens grande - 'SMOG'

Haha thanks man.
I need a little help. I ordered a red fiat badge but the seller didnt state if it was front or rear and it looks like it would fit both. Just wondering if there is any differences between the font and back badges so i know which one im missing haha :p and also if its the rear badge. How on earth do i put it on?

Measure them! haha, I know the front one has a tapped thread thing on the back, but Im not sure about the back one...
I think its just foam taped on. So a hair dryer will have it off easily :)

Re: Bens grande - 'SMOG'

Red fiat badges are on and have been for like a week and a half now :)
AUX cable added :)
and the biggest thing...a new jelly belly ;) haha

but yeah. i have a question.. need a little help; i was thinking of buying some grill mesh because i want the honeycomb style but cant afford the zunsport grill set. and no idea where to find the linea grill? dont even know if there still in production. but i wanted to know if it is an easy job cutting the mesh to fit and stay securely? not sure how it would work.
all help is appreciated and pictures of peoples custom grilles would be nice :)

Don't mesh it up.

Cutting it to the right shape would be hard enough, but getting it to stay in would be even harder! That's why they have clips.

There's no harm in trying though, the worst that could happen is the new grille won't fit. You can still put the old one back in.

Decided against the DIY mesh grill. might just get a debadged grill? or wait until i can afford the zunsport ones?

may be ordering some abarth heads next week :slayer:

anyway some new pics from my phone. nothing new but everyone loves pictures :D

thanks mate. look alot better in person! pics dont do them justice!
im that stupid that i dont really know what you mean by offset but there are no spacers on but they still sit quite wide out the side of the car. look beast. cant wait to get it lowered! will sit so nicely.

thanks haha need to get to grips with all this car talk no idea what most people are talking about :p we all start somewhere? :p

but yeah they do sit out of the arches a little. i like it tho. gives it a nice stance

Errrm just been looking at my car and I was thinking about tinting the back lights a little. I don't want to go fully black Cus that would look **** on a black car but maybe just 1 or 2 coats to make the red a little more burgundy? Just for the time being until I can get my hands on some red LED lights? Tell me what you think?

Also how do you de-wiper the back!? Had a look the other day and it's not as simple as I would of hoped?

And finally are pressed plates illegal? There's a mixed bag of answers when I google it. If they are legal what's the best place to get them done?

Thanks

If you have a look at my thread ive tinted my rear lights but not black, they do look dark but theres still red there which i prefer to all out black. you can get legal pressed plates from http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/webshop/uk-legal-pressed-metal-plates/ (y)
