Before i start POs means Piece of ****

I bought my fiat from my grandad a couple of weeks ago. 53 plate thats just ticked over 40000. bought coilovers for it and taken the bump stips off the side which went bad. very bad. Pics later to explain.

My first car was a mk2 golf which was fantastic. Drove well sometimes but it was great in the twistie and in general was pretty epic. Sold that and bought the punto. The car is dreadful haha. every corner is a nervous moment haha. The golf just gripped forever. anyway enough grieving. here is a couple of pics of the new car lowered and after a detail(ish)

this happened whilst removing the bump strips from the side of the car. the whole right hand rear quarter need painting. this will be done before salt is spread on the roads. i have touched up with the wrong colour of paint but its close enough for temporary

this is also on the rear quarter where my grandad dropped a slab on the car (n)

Love both of them cars and just a heads up, you need to rehost your pictures using the fiatforum gallery instead of photobucket because otherwise your thread will get closed

Lovely colour, well worth sorting out those small issues. Looks good lowered, I would:

Tint rear 3 windows
tint front lights maybe
tint side repeater?
debadged grille.

but totally up to you. The colour is great, truly

A lot of modern fiats are known for understeer, if thats what you mean. I dont know how the hell you got that much damage from removing the bump strips?

That to me, looks low from the side shot.. is that standard?
Looks nice anyway, one of the few colours on Punto's i like. (y)

Nice car, be ace when you get those little niggles on bodywork sorted!

I cant really fault my punto when cornering, had alot of grip on standard suspension and 165/70/r14 steelies, now even better with lowered hardned springs and shorter shocks, 205/45/r16s, maybe u need bushings/arb doing?

C/c'ing wing mirrors should be on your to do list....

nah whats tar and glue remover ..... lol tried that but it didnt work. i'm just leaving the glue on the back quarter as its getting sprayed.

if you look at the pic then you can see that the paint around the glue was slightly bubbling already. thus making it easy for large area of paint to come off very easy lol

every other side was fine. that quarter is bubbling on the arch as well so i will be repairing it when the car gets that quarter sprayed as well,
probably get it done in august when i get my pay rise. maybe the month after. not sure yet
between now and then i have a holiday to go on. fort william for a weekend of drunkeness. T in the park and Rockness so yeah its fair to say im skint already haha.

as to the other dude i would defo consider this as a fail however the golf needed major work which i also couldn't afford.
