Fare play, I never knew they could take you home? Isn't it they can only do it if its in a certain distance, other wise its to a local garage ?

Might help if I took mine out, one for weight saving and 2 to make a boot install....I am with the AA, will they toe me home where ever I am? as ive made so many designs but got stuck at the spare wheels factor. At the moment I have made a sheet with a trap door on hings on, so I am able to get my wheel out ;)

What about flatmate?

How are you stopping the amps getting hot. I was going to do this with mine, but couldn't find any vented acrylic so i gave up. If its not then its not going to be very good for the amps. Very tidy, Very Professional, very colour coded, very nice indeed. (y) :D

All you need is a couple of small PC fans outta the way at the side and some plastic tubing to direct the heat away. You can power the fans off the 12v amp remote wire (y)

Thats a good i dea. I didnt think bout that, but the question is has it been done here? :p Or maybe one FAT fan. I got one sat in my room that was from a REALLY old PC that is about 20 cm square. Was gonna put it in my gaming PC coz it runs quite hot :D

I had a pair of 6" 12v fans blowing direct onto my passive cooled kenny amp, but the noise got to me in the end and took em out. But if its in a proper install and mounted well there shouldnt be any problems at all. Just need to ask yourself if the amps run that hot anyway - they may not need too much extra cooling so fans wont be needed. Although better safe than sorry IMO.

Oh forgot to say, nice install (y)Has given me a few ideas now actually. Although i share the same spare wheel problem.

I know what you mean mate, ive done lots of installs in mine...

Watch this space, my mates boot is being built as we speak with 2 LED fans in there, 3 subs and 3 amps 4 6x9's :)
