IMAG2531.jpg

also on the subject of things daft, my dad found this in the attic, he said it was out of his Cortina Mk2, used to indicators and brake lights, but because im immature, it had a better use :D

Stop now, please leave the poor thing alone....

It started out as a attractive, tidy, original Bravo with potential.

Then you started sorting out mechanical issues to give it a chance at another 5 years life looking like a nice example of a cared-for 90's Fiat.

And now you're spending all your time and money mucking it up, turning it into a typical, tacky, tasteless teenage shed.

It's not an Alfa, it's not a Corsa, it's not a surf bus, it's not an Ibiza rave club, it's not going to be a Euro custom show-winner.

Please please please ... dump the stickers, rewind it a few months and just get it looking tough, tidy and tasteful.

I think that was a little uncalled for :(

When originally setting out to do the van project, suggestions of converting a car resulted in strange looks. A custom van gave quite a few the giggles and said it couldn't be done ;)

Better still stuff like this doesn't have to cost an arm or a leg. To buy a car, build the van fully and include new parts cost approx €500 in total (y)

Theres tonnes of potential, just needs time. So I say keep it up, youre putting new life into an old car (y)

9 speakers?!

If I were you, I'd keep the car red, iron out the dents, use the non black wheels and get some coil overs (or in my case, 3 sets of springs and shocks :p)

Have a look at this thread, theres some interesting stuff in it (y)

Finally, someone had to tell me something negative:(

I have been thinking of removing the stickers, except the front FF one, the tights have just came off as my brake light bulb has died, The boot is about to get tidied as my brother wants the red flashy light thing for his punto.

I'm just trying to make a smart looking car,im not tyring to make it look chavvy or tacky, i want it to look tidy.

I've also am having a rethink about the alloys, I'm trying to get some old school BBS wheels, or maybe some HGT alloys(y)

but on my list of things to do.
replace front grille
lower, got some 60mm springs, but the company i got them from recommend shortened dampers, so i might be returning them for some 40's

Still find a passenger airbag to tidy up the dash
cc'd mirrors
mk2 clocks

although, i've been looking at alot of other cars to buy this week! so might be getting another motor:worship:

my bravo could do with a better owner, it doesn't like me(n)

bit harsh comment above, think sum1 needs to have a tug or 2 on his dick,

i like your car , yeah its abit tacky with the rear lights, but i think its a nice example and you obv care for it quite abit, keep chin up

thanks man, my mate had it done on his mk1 punto, and it looked quite good, maybe because his was black, i dont think it goes too well with the red :/

i do love my car, i spend alot of time cleaning her and sorting her out, i like to be different aswell as everyone down here drive dubs (vw's) slammed to the ground with rusty bonnets and banded steels with stretched tyres, I wouldn't do any of that to my Bravo, its too good to be like that.

A 15 year old (96 plate) with 60k on the clocks, she's a keeper :)

Update? more of a goodbye message :(
1996-2012
I sold this car back in october to some polish geezers for £550, tax'ed and mot'd with 61k on the clocks.

couple months on..... My dad texts me saying he's seen it parked up, so i thought "great, would be nice to see the old girl"

Get there, its left jacked up with the original jack, wheel missing, snapped wishbone, snapped hub, bent disk, dented panel and a cracked bumper.

No idea what happened, made me sad to see her like that :( so i went home thinking "it'll be fixed"

Few weeks later, my mate sends me this
