looks nice m8, i like the alloys (y)
u could take ur speakers out of the parcel shelf put them in ur front doors and put some 6x9s in parcel shelf :)
u could also have a go at c/cing ur wing mirrors

thats pretty much exactly what im gonna do lol, i only got the car yesterday so aint had much time, i have took the bump strips off the front doors but the back ones pulled all the paint off so they went back on haha i think ill put the front ones on and color code them so it matches up, im gonna take the logos off the boot ( with a little more heat and thinner fishing wire haha ) mirrors and handles are also getting color coded, im gonna mesh the bumper, im debating on whether or not to get the black strips on the bumpers color coded or leave them as they are.

thanks for the feedback lol

looks tidy. any other plans for her?

yeah, theres a couple of dents that need pulling and shes getting a machine polish afterwards to get rid of some minor scratches, 40mm lowering kit to go on. color coding the handles and mirrors, putting the bump strips back on the front and color coding those too. debadging the boot, tinting rear lights ( maybe get some mk2b's and tint them instead ).

im also going to sprat the outer part of the alloys ( the part thats chrome now ) black, ill leave the spokes grey as i think it suits the car.

got a vibe slick on order too so that will be going in soon.

any ideas are welcome and definatley listened to lol!

wont they? i was told they would, nevermind.

i dont think it would matter too much if there tinted anyway lol
yes they will. mk2a and mk2b are essentially the same car. only difference is the front end. rear lights will be fine... BUT its either tinting or mk2b's. there is no point buying mk2b lights to tint as the indicator lenses will be sprayed over anyways and they are the only difference between the 2.

thanks i didnt realise that, derrp lol!

yeah benny i was looking at caliper paint today, should i do it blue or do you think it would be overkill, or look odd if its not the same shade.

for the rear lights im thinking about stretching some black womans tights over them, my mate has done it and it looks sweet as hell, he paid like 97p for them lool! also if i get pulled for the lights being too dark ill be like '' give me a sec, TEAR!, there you go officer, better? ''

if in doubt, paint em silver or black. will at least make them look tidier. other option is red? generally, u wanna pick a colour scheme of 2 colours throughout the car and have the calipers as the 2nd colour. paint the rear drums black tho. dont wanna draw attention to them and frankly it looks ****.
as for the tights... do a proper job and use tint spray. start off with light coats, and keep going until ur as dark as u like/feel confident about.

thanks for the tip, to be frank the thing thaw was worrying me was them getting to dark and then theres no going back lol! well there is but it would be more chew than its worth i thing id rather pay the fine lmaooo.

yeah i think colored drums look tatty anyway, thinking about replacing them with discs in the future but its last on the agenda as of now lol

have u had much experience using rattle cans to spray? if in doubt u can always buy an extra can of tint and practice on some glass or something.
fitting hgt rear disks looks good but to be honest thats it and are more hassle than its worth. the rear drums do a good enuf job in terms of breaking. also note that the rear disks have been known to seize.

might give that a second thought then, and yeah plenty experience spraying but never used the tint stuff before
