Seicento yella (update).

Introduction

not used this forum for a while and thought it a good idea to update with some pic's(y)
sinse last time on here the car has pretty much stayed as clean and standard as ever but with a few little detailing touches. please have a look:)
Re: yella (update)

oh yeh obviously haha. just when i lookd at it im wll impressed by the quality of the care but then let down by the 6x9 lol.

if you had rear quarter speakers id say this car would be perfect :)

either way brilliant job.

Re: yella (update)

I think the original owner had sony speakers in the parcel shelf with fiat badges stuck to the bottom of the magnets.

Whole point was to keep the car as standard as possible.

My opinion this is perfect car to do some cherry popping with a big fat valver engine and some nice stance .

Sorry :D.

Thanks

Re: yella (update)

i am the original owner???? tbh, i thought the speakers looked ok? i have copied how FIAT fitted speakers to the shelf right down to copying the plug for the wiring. the only difference is they are 6x9's and the badges, thought the badges looked better than XPLOD stickers in red??
opinions please, more on the speakers and how you would change this.(y)

Re: yella (update)

im just not a fan of anything in the parcel shelf, even though fiat did do it.

there isn't anything else you can do if you want rear speakers but want it as close to factory as possible. its the only way. there are 6x9 cups that can cover the bottoms though make them sound better and cleaner/smoother. but again not fiat standard.

custom wise you could change the rear quarter plastics to put speakers in but it isn't fiat standard at all.

i did think about speaker cups over a year ago but i could'nt find any to fit mine:confused: i then tryied to tidy up the shelf by hiding the wiring and using the badges, tbh, i have looked at the shelf and speakers a few times and wondered:eek:
i like my music too much to lose the speakers but a plain shelf is tempting?? anyone else with suggestions??

Re: yella (update)

You don't want him to hack up the parcel shelf but you're OK with him hacking out the rear quarter??! :nono:

haha, thats what i thought. tbh, i have been thinking about this and personally i think the badges will remain as i think they are tastefull, the speakers will remain as i fitted them as close to how FIAT fitted them but i probably will paint the tops dark as to remain kinda stealth. as i said, i like my music and i like it loud so they are staying.......maybe a plain shelf for shows!??
another thing i want to change is the red calipers i painted when i first bought it, has anyone had calipers re-plated?? i am thinking bright zink(y)

Re: yella (update)

lol, yeh abit more work.. i used to have grills with abarth badges on and they looked like they came with the car... dog eat them though :S

Re: yella (update)

I really like your car. Can you put more photos please? Nice details in the engine bay, so clean. I had some similar ideas. Tell me, did you polished the head cover or got it zink plated?
