Re: (NEW) Kenny the 1.2 Punto

Them alloys are the same ones as I saw on ebay, The sames ones exactly. You stole them

I am watching them and it says they are not sold yet. Maybe you should tell him to remove them so he doesn't get bad feedback :)

On another note they look nice !!

I was 2nd on the phone to him (y) but the guy before went to see them but never got in touch. i was willing to drive down to pick them up and pay cash.

Sorry i got there before you :p. I will tell him to later, but i think he hasn't incase i don't take them. which is what i do incase of cold calls. But i am defiantly taking them =D

BRIN; they will fit a punto. been told with good assurance by both FIAT and a guy with a 500.

Re: (NEW) Kenny the 1.2 Punto

These are about 2 weeks late, but thought i should put them up. These are the LED running strips. They are simple stick on strips that wire into the side lights.

However, i didn't want to have to have my side lights on for the LEDs to run, so i have wired them into the Ignition meaning they come on with the ignition, completely separate from the lights.

I apologise for the camera quality

The lights look good mate! Thinking about getting some now lol.

These are the ones i've got;

DONT get them from Halfrauds. i got mine from local motor factors for £20. Try yours. Also i wired mine into the ignition so they are always on with the engine. If you want advice on doing this PM.

GOT THE ALLOYS!! =D so happy with them. Excellent condition. Need to save up for the rubber now, then notify the insurance when i put them on. Going to put one alloy on when i have the car jacked up to see how the look. (y)

They will have a bit more poke than the older ones. gone from 185's to 195's. will still fit in the arches though

Will post updates soon

Cheers Benny (y)

Thought i'd put the 500 alloys on the car to see how they look and fit. Seems to be plenty of clearance everywhere. will see how turning goes with some rubber on.

Haven't had chance to get any tyres of yet. The place i use has closed for the day at 12. =/

They look really good, I would love alloys but can't afford them yet lol, I'll stick to the plastic trims for now lol.

Managed to get these for £100!!! without the rubber (which at the moment will be £60per rim)

Its doesnt have to be expensive.

But as my punto came with alloys as standard the insurance wont go up as much as it would for people who didn't have alloys originally.

Mine's just an '04 1.2 8v Active, insurance was bad enough so I have no mods, £1999 was the cheapest I could find.

Mines a ActiveSport 1.2l 8v, so insurance group 6. My current insurance was £970 before modifications. After declaring Iduction Kit, 35mm lowering Springs and the New alloys it is £1200. This is with me having 2yrs NCB and been 20. this is fully comp and parked on driveway at night and in a secure carpark at place of work doing 20k a year. I also have 3 points on my license

Re: (NEW) Kenny the 1.2 Punto

looking good :D you go low profiles on them too (Y) good choice

Didnt have much option with low profiles. Wanted to keep the rolling radius the same.

I had 185/55 15's on before with the sporting alloys. These are 195/45 R16's so the lower profile keep the radius the same.

But it makes them look really good =D Im really impressed, well worth the money.

Re: (NEW) Kenny the 1.2 Punto

Yeah for 500 alloys you got the dirt cheap! how much tyres cost you?

Must say havn't seen 500 alloys on punto before! Different! looks great :D

Cheers, ive never seen it done either, glad ive done something differnt to everyone else.

The main reason on doing it was my insurer said that if the alloys were a fiat brand (so had a fiat stamp/branding on it) then my policy wouldn't increase.

The Avon tyres cost £48.50 each fitted and balanced. but these are going to be run till i can get money for a set of Pirelli tyres, but they seem a good compund/quality so i will stick with them as long as i can
