Introduction

Hi guyssss well as the title says here is my mk2 punto :p


Yes I know its abit dirty lol but she's having a nice clean in a week or so when i have weekend off from work aswell as a well earnt oil change! :)



Really want to change my rear bumper cause i dont like it...well my front aswell but that'll be long while yet :pP


I dont know if you can see it but there's a nice crack on the front bumper which was there when i but the car but never noticed it until i got home:bang:


Engine bay looks very dark dirty and dull to me really would like to spice it up... thinking bluey-ish :p any ideas?



Right now this scratch was done at the garage I took my car too so they could replace the steering column.. :mad:they left me a nice mark of memory...
Anyway to fix this, sand it, prime it and paint it I'm guessing? Anybody know how i can find out what paint my car has and where i can get some? halfords maybe?


Right now aswell not sure where this came from but there what looks like a DIY passenger electric window lol but the drivers side has a handle and the buttons are on the bottom on the gear stick..... :/ :S



Anybody got any ideas how i could either of two options:
1) take the electric window out and put a handle on passenger side or...
2) get 2 better electric windows cause the current one(lol) is rubbish and fit them and move the buttons to a diffrent place aswell as remove those stupid blanking plates.. which i think might be quite hard because dont think car came with elec's and under the blanking plates are the rotor moving when you use the button... its a freaking mess...



Last but not least my mate kicked this and its like lost the bolt(maybe?) and fell spart and i have no idea what it is or how i could put it back together! Ideas???


Thanks for looking and any comments, yes I know my car is in a right bad state but if i fix all the little problems i reckon i could start being a nifty lil motor tbh... :) My only plans that i have got for it atm are to CC the wings and the door handles :p

Get the air box Plastic Treated - make it look Blacker and more glossey :)
Might be worth while with Fuse Box lid too - AG Bumper Care would do job :)

Get the Battery Tray - Battery Strap - Engine Body Mount - Engine Mount and Rocker Cover painted in a Nice blue :) And Possibly the Coil Pack Mounts :)

I'd leave the manifold - as i've cleaned mine up and painted it but it just stripped paint off again

If you feel like just popping the wiper linkage set out - give them a Clean and possible Paint? like White or something? Give the Bushing a Clean of Rubbish and leave some Grease / Thick oil in - reduces wear a little bit off the spindles too

Give the whole engine bay a good clean and protect :)

Not bad ziggy i quite like that actually :p but was thinking of swapping that standard punto air filter for an induction kit maybe not 100% sure yet going to do some research on that in future. My driver side wiper is actually broke and needs replacing but they judder and screech like god knows what... :O any ideas on that? replace them both or...?

Err no doors have been replaced as i know of nor any documentation with the car... the elec window is really slow and appauling sticks all the time... so annoying. Yea it is actually just wish weather was better so i could cc these mirrors and handles :D oh and take that silly black strip off from side of car ;)

Did what you said gave it a nice clean etc and they do actually have noticable diffrence haha :p haven't been able to do anything on the car really because of the damn weather...car was literally buried in snow from top to bottom... :O not to mention I had a problem with my job lmao so money is veryyy tight so hopefully after christmas things will get better and i can probably start changing things on my baby! :D

thats what i thought when i did mine. had to do mine twice tho cos 1st time round i couldnt be bothered to grease it up. dont forget the thanks button in the corner. ;):D
 
Depending on paintwork ... remove side strips , decide on bumpers before buying alloys .....Ford Focus induction kit only about 30 pound massive sound great looks

Well think a update is due tbh...
Were should I start...oh I know, some thief broke into my car smashed my drivers lock then didnt get in so tried to passenger side lock, still didnt get in to basically ripped half the passenger exterior door panel apart round the lock and manually opened the door, looked through my car found nothing and tried stealing my crappy radio(?) didnt get it out...(LOL)

Had that repaired yesterday...cost me £180 for 2 new locks, so got old key for ignition and 2 new keys for the doors, thankfully i can use 1 key for both doors :)

My horn doesn't work, found out it isnt actually the horn its the wiring... oh great so gotta get that sorted.. dont know where to start lmao

Previously I had mention on the forum I had asked for advice on my fusebox because the F01 fuse which does indicators, lights, full beam etc had blown(kinda) the fuse was fine but the actual socket it goes into is burnt etc and well that's totally rubbish I put a new fuse in it and found out that i have to push it right down for it to make contact, release the pressure and it doesnt work, u can get it to work with the fuse box lid on and pushed right down but when you drive the car it moves because its really really lose sooo need a new fusebox LOL

I did have a nice big scratch on the side of my car which some idiot did when trying to do a reverse park but the hit the backside on my car -.- but the guys that did my locks had a bit of spare paint left so he touched that up for me...and even knocked me a £5er off(GET IN).

I put my car onthe bottom of my garden yesterday so the door lock moron cnt do it again and well I hit the tree on it and have a nice little dint in my rear bumper... lmao

The rubbish standard airbox is being held on by a wire lol no idea how the bracket broke but it has so wanting to get a new airfilter, pref the focus induction kit. The side strips on my car are literally falling off so they are going too be removed lol

Before I got laid off from work I had heared a slight ratterling sound from the engine bay had a look didnt find anything then lied of floor to listen more closely and noticed a little bracket thing under my car shaking about, not sure what its too tbh but I held it and the ratterling went...so that needs to be sorted.

I really need to change my oil filter and oil, no idea how to do that lol need new brake fluid, new RAD fluid too :p so needs a wash, inside clean after winter :p Oh yea need to swap my front and back tires over, cause its front wheel drive if you get wheel spin at all(crap roads here not bad driving) they get more worn than the back :p

Oh yea also my fag lighter thingy is faulty, so could do with getting that out and checking the wiring etc. My front window wipers where REALLY noisey and generally rubbish, replaced them, silent and effective. :p still needs clean though :p

All the over cracks and dints in the car are still there and they so need to be sorted out lmao looks like a punch back... :p

Anybody know if you can replace just like sockets in a fusebox or if one has blown, burnt all the plastic around it also the metal inside so it has really dodgy connection, will it need a new one? or could I get a used one from scrappy...?
Money isn't a problem so I'm thinking new?! Might disconnect battery tomorrow and have a look at it see if I can take it apart or anything... any suggestions?
