Bravo (Classic) Van with a difference!!!.

Introduction

Heres the replacement for my highly abused yet extremely reliable Bravo.... Another Bravo (y) I'm moving up a year here :D Not going to be bitten like the last time, this is going to have a strip down and re-rustproof with a few bits to be thrown in too (copper lines all round are in the plans). Most importantly, this car is going to be converted to a van and painted black with some "toys" installed... More pics soon! :)

Ok I'll spill my idea

Basiclly, you know that lovely 166 I have? I originally bought it to take out the engine and put it in the Bravo... But I promptly fell in love with that car, the things cars do to people! so that idea is out of the question...

But I did more research and found this:

Then this

And I just can't get the sound of that turbo out of my head, the spool up... Or the idea of a T-Spark van out of my head either

When funds permit and I ditch more cars, that's what I'm aiming for, a T-Spark van then work from there. 156's here are peanuts once they're a 2.0 due to high-ish road tax

Make sure you get a pre 00 156 for the cable throttle and also the sound off the cf2 setup is very addictive say bye bye to balancing shaft belt :p it will be very expensive to get the twinny to take a turbo tho .
It would be a easier swap from a 145 or 146 ti .

yes, get a bit of alfa under the bonnet, TS go very cheap, its so easy to buy a decent running one(shame of course), but for a cheap engine conversion its the way to go :)

ooooh or a 2.4 jtd in the bravo :) now that would be silly quick:D

People, the end of daily use has come. It's been an eventful journey, full of fun memories. Never a dull moment. And never failed to put a silly grin on my face :D

Also used for its intended purpose, it carried various goods throughout the last year and a half, usually loaded to capacity. Tyres, coal, toilets it's carried them without breaking into a sweat :p

But it's now going to get a well earned rest. I will miss it dearly as a daily driver! Especially in the corners, out handled by a van springs to mind :ROFLMAO:

Fear not, I will return with it here. Hopefully with something a small bit bigger under the bonnet ;)

For now, for not looking hard enough, here is the replacement and my daily hack...
