Bravo (Classic) Van with a difference!!!.

Introduction

Heres the replacement for my highly abused yet extremely reliable Bravo.... Another Bravo (y) I'm moving up a year here :D Not going to be bitten like the last time, this is going to have a strip down and re-rustproof with a few bits to be thrown in too (copper lines all round are in the plans). Most importantly, this car is going to be converted to a van and painted black with some "toys" installed... More pics soon! :)

This wiper rubbish and leaky cabin (missing seals, arp arp arp :p) was getting on my nerves

Off with the wipers
Image1907.jpg

Then that awful trim
Image1908.jpg

Just 3 10mm bolts and the plug to remove next

There we go (y)

This linkage has the famous stop anywhere function. Comparing...

I think there's the problem:
Image1913.jpg

The short on one of the connections...

Back out I went :)
Image1910.jpg

Important was to clean the windscreen at the bottom thoroughly for the new trim to seal properly :)

Getting there...
Image1915.jpg

Better :)
Image1916.jpg

Suddenly, needed a new washer jet!!!
Image1917.jpg

Something was missing earlier in one of the pics...

It's been a long journey to get there! Keep em rackin' up :)

Stay tuned... ;)

should you be taking pics on your phone at 80mph?

62mph ;)

One time opportunity, not going to let it go! Cherish that moment forever (y)

i had that problem when my stilo went past 123,456 miles. I so wanted a picture of it but i was flying along at motorway speed when i noticed and had no chance to get a picture safely :(

I have a picture of the mileometer on the other Bravo above when a few years back the clocks changed to 88,888 and the trip read 999.9 while I was in a car park :worship:

Hold on I found it

Image001111.jpg

Now has near 130k miles (y)

Time for a clean!

A photo at a jaunty angle :p
Image1940.jpg

Lets go into detail here...
Image19411.jpg

Not forgetting...
Image1942.jpg

Once left to dry, locks were re-oiled (y)

To the front
Image1943.jpg

Shut panel, battery, wash bottle (dirty stuff in general :p) were cleaned (y)

This was annoying me...
Image1944.jpg

Considering I have a bonnet lined up anyway... I still cleaned it :spin:
Image1945.jpg

Better :)
Image1946.jpg

Then I got some dinner...

Back out, my swirly dirty windscreen was annoying me. So out with...
Image1948.jpg

Once dried in

Wipe off.

Chalk and cheese :worship:

Keep watching... ;)

Why is the price tag covering the brand of the window polish? Has it something to do with the copyright issues? :D

A defunct car accessories shop covers that unknown brand of glass polish, no branding issues atall :p

Back to the van (y)

Enjoying driving once more, at bloody last! :D last few weeks have been not so good (n)

Filled the tank and went driving. €60 doesn't even fill the tank full any more

Still, the places I end up... :p

More random trips on the agenda! (y)

Get LPG mine costs about 20 euros to fill ( only 34L tank) and does about 200-250 km driving in town. + 1...2 liters of petrol to start.
