Time for an UPDATE i think...

right, so not a lot of progress has been made recently. all i have got round to doing so far is debadging the front grill. sub and amp are in, along with my hu. i've got some new rear infinity speakers to go in, but i've seen the guides and really cant be bothered with doing it atm :yuck:

i've been a bit strapped for cash lately, but this is what i'm getting done within the next week or so...

-fly eyes (front)
-spraying wing mirror covers white
-spraying exterior door handles white (hopefully)

...getting the door handles off looks like a bit of a tricky job thooo. if anyones done it before, or knows how, feel free to help me out

I do like them in black, i just want to see what they'd look like in white. I've sprayed them gloss black so they look an awful lot better than they did anyway. I'll try and get a pic up soon. definitely doing the handles though, the horrible plastic just makes the car look cheap

as for the fly eyes, i'm not sure anymore. I've been looking at lamin-x and cant decide which to get. the lamin looks a lot nicer. Anyone got any opinions on which is best??

I've got lamin on rear lights, it looks good.

Not sure about fly eyes as I have never used it, there are plenty of people who have though, look through other peoples GP threads.

have you got any pics at all? i've read plenty about fly eyes within the forums, just can't find anything on lamin

Here are some pics, as promised...





-Debadged front grill...
-Gloss black wing mirrors...

Trying to spray the wing mirrors and handles has been a DISASTER the paint i got mixed professionally was too thick, so that has to go back. but i'm snowed in atm..

I then bought Halfords Fiat White 249 spray paint, as this is the colour code on my car. After trying it out on the mirrors first, i realised it wasn't a very good match, but regardless i went ahead with the handles, optimisic that it would look better. However, it did not ... it was a horrible colour, and just looked worse. So i scrapped that and i've sprayed them gloss black instead. Until i can find the right paint, theyre staying black! mirrors are going back as well when i get round to it.

p.s. taking the door handles off was a lot easier than i thought

if anyone would like to donate some white door handles to me, please feel free lol :worship:
