lol yeah thats true but these arent really to my taste but they will do until i get a set of BBS or something along the lines of that
Why the choice? You dont see many Polo GTI's around. Is it a 1600? someone i work with used to have a Polo GTI but im sure it was a 1400 and he thought my Sporting was a little quicker! Id say in a 1600 it will be pretty nippy and prob outlast any fiat

Well ive always wanted a vw (secretly) lol and im moving house soon so will get a bit of money from doing that so i can afford another car and originally i wanted a 6n but found there werent many decent ones near me and there were a few 6n2's around and then the GTI popped up and they are pretty rare now and yeah its a 1.6 16v with 125bhp, top speed around 130. Yeah when i was in it yesterday it was very nippy and didnt get chance to really open it up. as long as the engine is looked after which it has been with all the service history and receipts it has it will last for ages lol
in all onestly thats a really good choice of car, i ust to be stupid and think if you have a polo you just cant aford a decent golf, but they look really nice, i thought polo gtis of that year came with bbs alloys as standard? im pritty sure those are the orignal alloys, i may be wrong tho. i would of gone with silver myself but its a very nice car mate

Cheers butcher! Yeah they do come with bbs split rims but these ones arent the standard ones, dont even think they are bbs tbh just look a bit like them. Yeah my first choice was either silver or black but tbh id be happy with this one knowing that i just have a GTI lol plus i like the red

I think my first big purchase will be coilovers/springs depending on insurance then shortly after, wheels because i dont like the ones that are on it atm

lol of course thats what needs to be done! Only thing is that my insurance company wouldnt cover me on coilovers on this car, only 50mm lowering and nothing more so unless they have changed their policy it might be springs for now but coilovers would be the way forward for sure
always liked the polo's.. Smaller than a golf, so that makes it like a modern mk1 golf gti (in my mind)..
Much the same as the 106 gti was the new 205gti, not the 206gti as it was just too big and heavy (like a golf)
We can whack my AMG wheels off the van on for a giggle if you get it, they would go on there
