theres a ton of different tesso(sp?) blue shades
mines blue teseo, and its well diff looks very dark your one
shades vary.. also depend on how they have been looked after with wax/sunlight etc.

Yeah theres at least 3 different shades that ive seen paint for so mine was probably one of the darker ones

lol yeah pretty much, i think im gonna have a punt on the ats cups if they dont get stupid money, they are only an hour away from me and will be getting re sprayed anyway, im thinking secret colour in the middle and polished lip
indeed, there is many many shades of broom yellow as well.
Andy, just get your wheels painted and do the rest. Normally i would say get alloys but the punto wheels look awesome anyway, especially when lowered.. Like i said, i know a dude that can do them properly - Price depends though on size and condtion of wheels.. He quoted purple chris £45/wheel as they in very good nick - but he done a set of AMG 17" for 90 each, they needed little bit of repair and have a chrome lip so took longer to do. But he does it proper, tyres off and everything.
Do the wheels, they will look awesome - springs are ordered yes? stick them on. And the same guy who does the wheels could do your smoothing and spraying - will get you some pics of the merc when we pick it up

Yeah i suppose your right. The ATS cups that im looking at would need a lot of work which i could put into getting my alloys done properly instead. Would this guy be able to do a metallic flake on my alloys to make them sparkle a bit more as well? thats something ive been considering. Well these are 15" and theres a bit of kurb rash on each wheel so not sure what price he would quote me. Yeah the springs im picking up after the 18th of next month due to the guy been in london at the moment and moving to leeds then for uni. didnt know this guy can do smoothing and spraying as well, will have to get a proper quote off him at some point

He did some work on my uncles Brabus ML and now he's doing my dad's CLK. not known him long but the ML looks amazing since it cames back - looks brand new again so most of the stuff i've seen is just resprays but last time i spoke to him he was saying he wished more people came to him for non-standard work as it just gets boring.
He lives in Fulford but works out back of haxby..

Got a few dents to get rid of as well that really bug me, i might make a proper list of things i want doing then i could get a proper quote off him sometime

Yeah, turns out the garage i trusted were just trying to rip me off, which they succeeded in doing. Charged me £600+ for holding onto my car for however many weeks and replacing a fusebox and charging me hundreds for labour charges. Ive yet to see any electrical fault that they described so its safe to say ill never go back to them.
Oh rite that really does sounds a bit ****, im sorry to here it m8. Atleast u know not to use them again then. And your safe in the knowledge that there wasnt as many problems as you thought.

Yeah i know, literally had to borrow money from my mum and sister to pay the garage back which sucked but i was sick of them having my car i just paid and went somewhere else and got it MOT'd and new exhaust, cambelt etc and a few other things for just under £250 iirc which was a really good price, just a 35-40 minute drive away lol. Yeah thats true, It went in originally to get the mot done and cambelt and then it "overheated" which it had never done before and all this other **** what they said. Currently looking for somewhere to fit this backbox for me before i get tempted and buy a straight through pipe! lol dont wanna try it myself..
yer i would have been so mad with them, oh rite that sounds more reasonable. That was a bit unlucky sounds like they saw a fiat and decied to push it as far as they could. Haha yer thats quite a straight forward thing so im sure any garage would be able to do that. Yer a straught through pipe does seam to be quite a popular option at the moment.
