Very good point. They are fiat steels that have been banded but there £275 and i dont even have a car to even test fit them on still lol plus they end in 16 hours

they are really rare and if you do get them and they dont fit sell them on you could probably make a bit out of them

Thats very true actually, im not sure why they are so cheap though... They cost a bomb to make up and they havnt even seen the road or a tyre before and they have just been powdercoated black.

Right so this thread is probably over for good now. Car is probably going to be sold or broken down at some point when/if i ever get it back from the garage.
If i cant sell it and no one wants anything, im thinking, track car maybe? 8v turbo engine either that or get a new loom and make it a show car only...

Had a good think. Im keeping this car. I cant get rid of it lol even the thought wasnt nice. Im going to get it fixed asap, get it taxed, mot'd insured and then just sit back and enjoy

lol yeah i can enjoy it until it turns all italian again and decides to have another hissy fit. But it seems to be running really well at the moment, havnt driven it anywhere because its sorn but on the drive the throttle response is a lot better and its not misfiring or anything
I just want to go out and drive with some really loud music with the windows down and sunroof open!

tbh they didnt even tell me, just loads of electrics have been bodged together so they basically gave me a new internals for the fuse box and other bits and bobs but theres still a fault somewhere and they stopped it from overheating with a new thermostat. When its running right il have to pop round for a bit one day

Im not too sure tbh, apparently when the fan kicks in sometimes the windows go down and the rear wiper goes off but i havnt ever seen this happen so im yet to believe this is entirely true. Im gonna get it looked at by someone soon who wont charge me an arm and a leg (again) and who will be able to mot it if it can pass at the same time so hopefully it will be on the road again in the near future

the MOT place on Leeman Road is pretty sound guy, is where i take the seicento turbo.. Its same place as that hand car wash and battery shop. I reckon if they did it during the test he'd just say theres nothing to say it can't do that and pass, cause there isn't My dad's Merc SL height adjustable suspension kept moving on it own during MOT but again thats not part of an MOT so it went through fine.
Tbh sounds like dodgy earths, should be easy enough for an auto electrician to get to the bottom of pretty quickly.

no i'm sure its fine as long as the car runs and doesn't get too hot. Can't help you with earths, never had a mk2 punto and electric is just like magic to me, no idea how to do electrical fault finding no matter how many times i'm shown.

So im guessing that if i have any problems with my audio system (which im slowly building at the moment) you wouldnt be one to call then?
yeah well the guy who im taking to is a friend of my girlfriends dad and hes done his work for years so he will be able to get it done and charge me next to nothing for doing it which is always good
