Hmmmm i will take these views into consideration ...... yer im getting a Induction kit but i can't for now, cause im only 17 and aint been driving for long so insurance company may rape me... ^^

Replace the word 'may' with WILL . Surprised you can insure a Standard sporting tbh. Insurance Group 6-7 is very high when you're 17.

Seeing as your Punto looks so good i will turn it into a 'Will' :L...... and strangley my insurance only cost £750...... buts its on my dads and its Third Party Fire & Theft which sucks.......

Oh and how much of a absolute ball ache is that grill to get on!

The nuts had all seized up and it was a right bastard to get flush....looks a lot better than standard one though

It may look like that but he's actually used my car more than me ........due to mainly that i baught the car 6/7 months before i finnaly learnt to drive..... which meant he was driving me all around due to him teaching me how to drive. He still uses my car now because hes to lazy to move his which is normally parked in a stupid place.

When my insurance is up for renewal i will be going on my own insurance because i want to start getting my no claims bonus.

Fair play just thought I'd mention it in-case "god forbid" you need to make a claim and get caught out. There's certain insurers that will give you NCB for being a named driver.

But i did have a major problem putting it on..... the grille had left no room for the piece of metal on the underneath of the bonnet that connects it to the Latch....... im very suprised it didnt snap in half with all the pressure me and my old man were putting on it in order for it to screw in.

try raising the rubber "bump stops" which are at either side when you lift the bonnet. Screw them counter clockwise to raise and clockwise to lower.

I like the wheels and the lowering is just right. I would tuck the exhaust outlet back under a bit - too sticky-out for my taste. Fiat badges have a recess so have to be filled. Be VERY careful flatting down the filler. If the paint layers go through its a nightmare to prevent the contour lines shining through the new paint.

I'm not convinced about losing the side strips. There are too many car park to$$ers with no respect for other people's cars. At least you get some protection.

That intake is smart but must be noisy and its not well placed to get a good cold airflow. It needs to avoid heat from the 'pipes and radiator.

Wow, this is so spooky, but i must say that the car did look awesome back in the day. But what happened to the black alloys / induction kit? XD........ were you the first owner? and weird how it ended up in Swansea. I will look after her mate. The body condition wasnt too good when i received her (Rust issues, chips and scratches and chip in windscreen) but i will try to get her back to her glory days. You can tell i've made a start by replacing the grille, and i do plan on changing the alloys to black, but i'm a bit skint atm, what else should i do?
