Re: To keep the Abarth 500 company...

How about this insane concept i made! I call it the A500126BIS ;)

Can't believe how easy it was to swap the bits on PS, didn't have to adjust the size/angle on the front bumper, even the wheelbase matched!

9 months later i found a set of Cinq wheels on eBay. Missed the bid, but the winner never contacted the seller. So a few emails later, and a 100 mile round trip to Llandudno later and they're mine! What do you think? I think they work perfect with the red paint and black trim on the car. They're not as in good nick as i'd hoped, so i'm thinking of giving them a rub down and paint (in black again) after i've taken off the tyres.

Shiny :D

You actually been able to take it for a proper drive yet?

I got it insured last Friday, did 1 mile in it (without tax ) broke down, got it home then the MOT ran out on the Sunday so no, not really!

Got a mechanic coming soon to fit some parts that it will need for MOT he "only" charges £20 an hour :( Then I'll MOT it, then tax it then drive it then probably brake down again!

Looks spot on! The wheels were the only thing i didn't like about mine, the guy i sold it to soon put on alloys from a Panda CLX (although with absolutely wrong tyres).

I like the black wheels :D spot on with the bumpers and trim!! If your car had black interior as well, that would be my dream BIS

Well i got some rather naff cheap ass seat covers from Lidl, to protect the pretty much immaculate seats! They look crap if you stare at them, but at a glance, they are Red/Black like the rest of the car and really brighten up the interior!

You can just about see the seats in this pic:

Looks like you got a really good buy there! I always wanted one of these myself, but doubt I could live with it as a daily driver lol

No neither could i really.

1. I barely fit, 6ft with size 14 shoes
2. Have to remove my shoes every time i get in!
3. Have to move my left leg every time i change gear
4. My right leg gets a good work every time i press the non servo brakes!
5. It's a bit bouncy like
6. It's slow

But, it is good fun despite all this! I've gone 38 miles in it, had it 1 year in June! Still no tax/mot yet, got the parts just need someone to help me fit everything.

I love the interior! May I ask what seat covers you got (where you bought them) to fit the 126? I'm thinking of doing the same thing with mine :)

Thanks :D
