Punto (Mk2/2b) My mk2 punto

Introduction

Right new to this forum and recently bought a black mk2 punto, I'm in the process of modifiying it.

I posted a thread before but think I got it in the wrong section.

I'm trying to keep things subtle.

My car looks crap compared to most of you guys but I'm trying lol

Mods so far

Lowered 50mm
15" alloys
Full stealth exhuast system (I have my tailpipe hidden as I think it would have looked crap on my car with a big tailpipe)
Induction kit
De badged rear
Tinted sunstrip
Tinted rear lights
Tinted side repeaters
Removed side strips

To do

Smooth bonnet
Re-map ecu
Upgrade discs and pads
Colour code bumpers
Colour code wing mirrors
Colour code door handles
Tint windows

Taken a few pics, unfortunately no before shots

I've got a pic just after my car was lowered, as you'll see the lights were still standard.

I think the bumpers colour coded will make a huge difference to the look of the car.

I will take more pics another time.
I like it, paint the drums though, the rears just stand out with rust :(

Yeah the rear drums are ugly, once I sort them , get colour coded bumpers, tints and a smoothed bonnet I'll be happy.
Could always convert the rear drums to discs. with a HGT rear axle?
:slayer:

I take it that would be expensive

Sorry I'll sort that now :)

I can't edit my post??? Is it only a limited time to edit posts I take it

Nice!!!!!!!!!!

How are you going to go about colour codding your bumpers?

I have the SAME problem, mine are that exact colour and look bad :(

very tidy car bud. lovin the simple yet effective mods.

cant wait to see more!

Cheers, hopefully have a smoothed bonnet and abarth bumpers on the weekend

Nah I wouldn't say expensive, depends if your Punto is the 1.2 and if so it probably wont be worth doing because you wont need the upgraded brakes.

Just paint the drums  Make it a bright ish colour though like bright green or... orange or something :)

Yeah I'll defo get the drums painted, either that or get wheels that hide the drums lol

Yeah I hate the unpainted bumpers.

Well I am meant to be buying abarth black bumpers, just waiting to hear back from seller.

If not I'll take them to a bodyshop for a quote, or check local scrapyards for colour coded bumpers
