Spent a little time on the car today. Last night the misses and I de-badge the boot ready for a cleaning session today, here's the results.

Tomorrow I plan to do the alloys, which is annoying since I dont even like them. Then the interior. Then at some point this week ill get on to de-stripping the sides.

I did think about doing that but I found a set of alloys I love.
Lenso RS5, I think these at 16" would look so much better.

I cant post links yet since I need 5+ posts but google it, I want the Anthracite colour and if you google Lenso RS5 Honda Civic, the colours suit spot on

Just thought id do a little update, no pics atm but ive recently ordered a few bits and bobs...

tinted side repeaters
black Fiat badge for the bonnet

and picked up a set of Abarth sideskirts today which I won on ebay for a decent price.

Apart from the sideskirts, the rest are all birthday presents and im being good by waiting for the day to come before fitting it all

EDIT: about the wheels, not sure on the cheapest price yet, im holding out for when its next on my list before doing the old bargain hunting, however my current wheels will be sold cheap when it comes to it, im thinking no more than double figures.

They'll need a respray first though so I plan to get that done with the spoiler.
Next thing im looking into is the coilovers atm

The headunits pretty good, I got it half price as all the headunits in stock were being replaced with "ipod" ready ones. It works with ipods but I use a couple of 4GB usb sticks as its easier.

Finished de-stripping the sides and I could'nt resist... the smoked side repeaters have been put on

Not yet, they need a respray to suit the paintwork of the car but theres 2 bodyshops at the end of my drive (weird area) so easy enough to grab a couple of quotes.

Would ideally like to get some coilovers this month but may decide on getting the skirts done and fitted, depends on money situation. I have my renewal coming up at the end of the month too which judging by some new quotes online, could be looking at saving £55/pm.

spray them yourself mate, i do all my stuff myself easy to spray the FIAT BLACK lol

im doin my spoiler tmoz myself,its dark blue now gonna spray it black and bond it to car

Yeah ive been keeping up with your thread, it's a lot more interesting since you do put the effort in and people get to actually see some progress.

Im still not sure though, i've been reading about doing the sideskirts myself and some threads say its ok, go for it, others say its better to have a bodyshop do it.

I think ill wait to see how your spoiler goes, might just be enough to tempt me to have a go

cheers mate, should be doin spoiler tomoro i thinks, il post pics on my thread of the prgress fo that mate, i think the skirts will look fine done yourself mate, i did door handles and window trim myself and tghey blended into the car paintwork fine.

mate i done spoiler and bonded to car, looks ace mate, just needed a tcut and polish and buff to blend into original paint
