Seicento Bella the Seicento.

Introduction

I finally managed to get my arse in gear and make a members motors thread, a couple of people have asked me to make one, so here it is!

Car: Fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth
Colour: Red (and grey)
Engine: 1108cc SPI

Mods:

Audio:

Kenwood KDC-W4544U Headunit
Alpine SXE-69C2 6x9s on the Parcel Shelf
Unbranded 650w RMS 10" Sub
Unbranded 800w RMS Amp

Red Seatbelts
Abarth Badges
Red and Black leather Gearstick / Handbrake gaitors

Exterior:

Abarth Badges - front and rear
Clear Front Indicator Lenses

Engine:

GSR Induction Kit
Janspeed cat-back Exhaust System
Red Rocker Cover

She has had other bits and bobs done to her aswell, like new headlights, etc...

the day i bought her:

a little bit of paint missing on the rear bumper, due to wrong primer:

i then began with the modding. little bits first, like the gear gaitors:

red seatbelts and 6x9s:

abarth badges on doorcards (they were a bit plain, wanted to cheer them up a bit (y) :

also put one under the rev counter:

also put fiat abarth badges on the back and front (abarth overload, i know!) :

i then started on the engine mods, firstly with the Janspeed exhaust:

and then the rocker cover and GSR Induction Kit:

And thats the story so far!

Sorry about poor picture quality in some of them, rubbish camera phone!

Re: Bella the Seicento

looks good mate when you left lakeside everyone said how good it sounds, i think the last ps is good and have you painted callipers red? And ebay coilovers i really want to go lower but would need someone to buy my 50mm shock and spring kit but i would defo remap then low then paint mate

Re: Bella the Seicento

That last PS, do that again without black on the bumper and move the scorpion forward a tad, then i think you'll be onto a winner..

:yeahthat:

it was mentioned before but carbon fibre wrap would be cool specially with the red scorpion

or maybe matt black

ive already done a PS without the black on the bumper, will post it up later as i cant do it from my ipod touch ;)and i looked at matt black, but wasnt sure it would look good...still indecisive about carbon wrap though...im thinking of learning how to make proper CF panels though, might be a business idea, and i can make my own parts ;)i think regular black for now, and then when i learn to make CF, can use my car as a test :pand i havent painted the calipers red yet...was thinking of doing the PGT brake conversion on the fronts first though ;)but yeah, im thinking of getting a supersprint manifold aswell, might be a little bit louder :p

Re: Bella the Seicento

I'd say stick to gloss/satin black. Matt black is cool but don't think it'd look right at all. I'm not for carbon wrap either, on a bonnet maybe but they look silly when you put the bonnet up to reveal in reality its not a carbon bonet, similarly with the roof, no-one gona think you've gone and got a real carbon roof put on it, they will know its wrap and then its just silly and tacky.. Carbon is good, but only if it is real and is actually saving you weight, that my opinion anyway.
I defo think satin/gloss black will look best, and do the bumper bars as well like you said before, i have my bumper off at them moment and was pondering doing that exact thing.. Theres a guy on here that has done it, look awesome ;)

EDIT: If you start making carbon panels, i would start with a seicento, start with something with a much bigger scene like fiesta wings, bonnets and boot etc.

Re: Bella the Seicento

dont apint the big bit of the bumper at the top, just get the bars done and behind the reg at the back. otherwise it might look silly.
